Bandcamp Fridays

My Ukrainian friend is stuck in Odessa.
Don’t hesitate to grab some record from his label!

I really dig this one:

This track is from Rubbish TC + me. It seems it was ages ago…

Another Ukrainian artist:

And this morning I’m listening to Thamel and his Make Noise Shared System:

Back in December 2021, I organised a 14+ hour all-dayer of live(ish) sessions on Repeater Radio to mark the winter solstice; artists who recorded at least three of those sessions (including @Fin25) have now put them on Bandcamp in tidied-up form:

I purchased a few thngs today, starting with a couple of artists supporting humanitarian relief in Ukraine:

A preorder (releasing today) of Special Request x Tim Reaper – Spectral Frequency VIP

Some unreleased stuff from Skee Mask:

Also picked up this one by @AdamJay:

And a bit of coontemplative piano from Danny Keane:

I’ve got two projects on Bandcamp that I’ve done this year. I’m very happy with them.

The latest is 02/22 Beats. It’s more or less traditional sample-based hip-hop. I make a lot of use of the great filters on the Circuit Rhythm and the whole thing is powered by the unrelenting force of the Digitakt.

64 is an all Digitakt project. It’s also hip-hop. But it’s mostly synth based. It gets a little weirder. I’m very proud of it.

Rival Consoles is a top priority for me to see live. I think the guy is a genius.

I’m still catching up with stuff I missed between Nov and now but huge love for this (and thanks for the codes!)

I saw my mellow, Buddy Peace, first up on the tracklist and I was sold immediately. Massively looking forward to checking out your stuff. Nick and I go back a couple of decades or so - one of my closest friends in music - so it’s awesome to see him mentioned on here.

I can’t even view my account let alone support any artists, it is clogged up!
Too much traffic :exploding_head:

Good though that innit?

Belated Bancamp Friday post (got busy last night :joy:)

@AdamJay I used tcxw-7xun. The opening track was enough for me to be extremely interested in what your album entails. I’m looking forward to digging into it soon!

As for my music, I put out a new beat tape yesterday:

And here’s what I picked up:

A new beat tape from @Doug

A sample pack from Marlow Digs that I’ve been eying for a while

and a compilation album from a Ukrainian record label :ukraine:

This is the first time we’ve tried to add non-musical items to our Bandcamp page. Really keen to see how the shipping costs will affect us.

Still, tried to make the offer more appealing to consumers by including a download of our compilation album End of Term Review.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that ‘Bandcamp Friday’ has been canned, does anyone know if it has officially ended?

Still alive! At least for next week
