I tried all kinds of shelves none of them were comfortable…
This one puts everything at perfect height and reach for me
with no sore back from a long session.
I’ve got an extra speaker out of view also that I can turn on to hear properly from both sides when using the gear on that stand

yesterday i was learning my latest purchase – Roland Handsonic HPD-15.
and suddenly discovered that HPD-15 + Electribe 2 (synth) is a killer combo for certain genres, e.g. acid techno/trance or dancefloor-friendly industrial.
with live percussion parts, of course — that’s what i bought HPD-15 for.

to admire you we need more (and better pictures)! A few tips: Nothing of interest is in focus, bad angle for a picture, turn on your gear for some interesting colors.

I bought some of those 1u brush slots to put into the rack slots on the my desk (has 4u on each side on top) so I could run cables through and hopefully tidy it up a fair bit. What a mistake. My nest of wires behind the desk needs a good sort out. What I thought was going to be a 5 min job of just disconnecting the cables and re-routing them has so far turned into an hour of confusion and I’m still not done. 20+ TRS/XLR cables going to my mixers breakout box. 10+ MIDI cables running to USB MI…

There is more coming. Building it just takes time that I don’t have. Sides need special panels that need to be built around some things. The back wall has to wait till April as I’m getting some new furniture. Then the ceiling will be treated last.

Building the panels is easy, but if I have the choice between making panels or making music… I nod my head to the beat…

You need more gear to heat up the room! Find an old big mixer. They will heat up the place nicely! hehe.

Just saw an manual for a 90’s Otari mixer. It specified the heat radiation in BTU’s. hehe. First time ive seen that on any musical equipment.
