Posted in the share your tunes thread but since it’s all DT2 figured I’d put it here too.
liking the piece around 15.30 - really chunky sound going on there, especially the drums.
what’s the mastering step?
Hi! This track is actually edited, I applied RX De-click to some quieter parts.
And for the mastering steps:
- equalization, dynamic equalization — fixing tonal balance, ear-piercing frequencies of some drum hits (a note to the future self — do it in the box before recording)
- FabFilter Saturn as a low frequency exciter, subbass is pretty dull in this one
- slight compression and a final limiter
For dynamic processing I used TDR plugins, they are great. Other tracks are processed similarly.
Hey there o/ I also did something new again with the Digitakt 2. It’s Techno after all, but it’s also very Piano-heavy. So - if you dont like Piano’s, this is probably NOT for you
Enjoy!
I made a new live set, 23 minutes of techno.
Digitakt only (with heat+fx), bass leads, hh, sfx, textures, blips n blops are sampled from buchla 208c synth
here I am using my new sample pack exclusively made with the Korg OPSIX. it has chromatic samples and loops that are perfect for chopping into FM bits. I even made a folder of pitched-up, mono samples that are perfect for the DT1.
sample pack is a free download ending Thursday at midnight.
Thanks man. Much appreciated.
DTI only.
Here are 3 versions made on dt2 from another thread here.
Only Dt1
I like textured beats, I wonder if the Digitakt 2 can recreate that old-school sound
Added the vocals in Ableton, rest is digitakt 2. Really love the digitakt 2 as a groovebox. I often create my own samples with waveforms, resample and go from there. Definitely my favorite hardware.
Of course it can, it’s same Sampler just stereo
Dt2
that sounds great
damn im almost convinced to get og dt1
Dt2 with ahfx
Here we go - some Dark Techno with the Digitakt 2 again. This time i tried something with a little bit of VFX too
Enjoy!
Amazing video!!!
