Here’s me trying to do something on just the Digitakt 2. I usually at least pair it with my Analog Heat +FX, but in this case, I was quite happy with the amount of distortion I was able to get from it on its own.

I have a tremendous amount of samples from several Humble Bundle purchases. I’m slowing working through them with the help of my DT
Some tracks both finished and unfinished from September and October 2025. Most were made on a trip into the mountains with my wife.

I made a Digitakt II-only track where all synth sounds are sampled from Arturia AstroLab 37, drums from Digitone II.
This video is a track breakdown of it, focusing on how the track came together musically using DT2. It’s my first full production on the DT2 and I’m genuinely impressed with it. It almost feels like a co-producer in how it’s shaping ideas, structure, and decisions during the process.

Here’s a jam from yesterday, working with a 16-step pattern on the DT2. Did a quick mix/master in Ableton too, as part of the jam session. Trying to create something from scratch into a workable sound sketch, including postproduction, that might be used as a reference later if I ever decide to continue to mould it into an actual track some day. Have way too many half finished and half baked jams laying around!

Got a stupid cheap DT1. Sold it at a decent profit to fund a DT2. What can I say, I was too used to the QOL shit on the 2, even over the stereo and storage increase.
