Absolutely brilliant track. It feels like a great beat to rap over only in retrospect imo.
To have that foresight to combine the sonics in that way is just excellent.

That instrumental version is definitely proto-BOC. What an amazing track, I can see why the BOC boys found inspiration in it.

Yeah, there’s no way to know for certain but I’ve been into BoC for decades and I’m convinced this is them

I’m pretty sure that’s not a BoC track. The melodies and chords are a bit too generic. Hard to explain. To me it sounds like a boring rip off. BoC always have something strange going on. This track sounds a bit too perfect to me.

Yup im in the dont think so either. Its like looking at a copied painting. It doesnt feel right somehow. But nonetheless its good.
