What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 3)

YES! More organic beats mixed in! Beautiful kit and pies!

This little box.

Intentions: Weird delays, broken repeats, washed out over dubbed carpets of sound.

It’s wild but I am finding settings I like so far.

That looks like some insane medical device.

Just blew my tax return on a new watch and a new strap for my old watch (both Formexes for those of you who are interested).

Intention: Reward myself for a stellar year without adding gear to my list of things I need to learn.

Your experiments inspired a rabbit hole!

Found a good deal on one on Reverb, comes in this weekend!

Really looking forward to testing out the thru and new bitcrusher modes in my setup!!

Special shout to @GurtTractor!! i scoured the net for more examples of the new srr mode in action, and your posts and wonderfully inspiring audio clips were pretty much the only ones i could find on the webz

I will! I ended up selling my beautiful minty SP-202 with a card to fund it. I love the thing, but as someone mentioned doesnt get as much love as it deserves with me being partial to my other SPs.

A bit random I suppose in 2026 but I just received a Waldorf blofeld keyboard after buying (and loving) a protein

Early stages ,don’t love it yet but I might once I start program some patches

Remarkable how deep it actually is though

Pads are unreal

Bought a full sized electronic piano (Yamaha P-95) from my sister with the intention to learn piano and proper music theory.

Sold my digitakt 2, after 1.5 year the limitations were getting frustrating more than anything else, i was also alwats either 100% on digitakt 2 jamming, either 100% on ableton producing/arranging, and direct playability was missing (by opposition to programming nature of elektron).

So i bought a Push 3 controller.

The global setup is quite simple but perfect for the goal of learning to actually play (piano + finger drumming + jamming) my music. And it’s so powerful at the same time, aesthetically and workflow wise i find it perfect and so inspiring.

Gonna post a picture later back from work.

OP-XY, my intention is to integrate it via midi in my fixed setup. However, for some reason I love it, but I’m not able to make complete songs with it standalone.

My new arrivals just now from Juno UK…

Did you ever buy a product and then immediately regret it before it even arrives and it’s too late to cancel. Just asking for a friend.

Literally every time.

Have you guys tried NGNY? If that’s how you really feel it might be something worth checking out. Can be a lot more than saving money on music gear if you want it to be.

I love this thing, and have wanted one since it came out, but I decided I didn’t need it before I got it and have posted it for sale.

I’ll be dubbing until it sells though, lol

LaunchControl XL

Intention:
Create patches on some synths from across the room.

Got wood. Intention was to build a double level shelf to help with ergonomics and fun factor.

Found one of my fav all time analog/digi hybrid synths—a mint JD XI for $150 at my local pawn shop. Flawless besides the missing vocoder mic and power adapter. Fortunately, I had tons of extra Roland 5.7v adapters laying around as well as a spare SM58 which sounds exponentially better than the goofy gooseneck mic that comes in the box.
