I got myself a Dreadbox Nyx Reissue.
I want to learn and experience a little bit the magic of analog and semi-modular hands on synths.
I was between the Nyx and Taiga Desktop, but a discount for Musicstore in cologne sealed the deal for me.

The Syntax Error 2 was on sale and couldn’t resist. I never had any hardware effects, but was thinking about getting one to add a bit of surprise to the pallet.
I like it so far, although i still have to get to know the different algoritmes. I really like the midi implementation, adding just a single page on the ec4 with all the parameters really keeps the menu diving to a minimum!

thanks! I’m not the most musical person here, but I’m loving it so far. It really adds spice to the sounds coming from the synths and a bit of unpredictability, but not uncontrollable. If you have any specific questions, feel free to send me a message!

A second rode nt1a I found for cheap to record some ORTF stereo soundscapes. I know the nt-1a has a rough reputation but for my usecases (weird samples at home, quiet sounds, now field recording soundscapes) it’s a good choice for the used prices I paid 
wat, there’s a bitcrush mode? I see now how you guys are using it. I just assumed the degradation was baked into the delay and not independent. i should read the free manual

With og faceplate, not the smooth one. i asked elektron if they had any and nope. will forever be on the look out for one with that faceplate

Meant to post when I got them a few weeks back but new arm rests for my Aeron chair.
One had split and they were pretty hard anyway.
New ones are still firm but feel far nicer.

Yes, the og faceplate really is nice. I used to have 2 mk1s, one with og faceplate and one that felt…not so nice. The og one was the keeper 
I stumbled into a “right time right place” situation yesterday and got a brand new Klon KTR at list price ($269). These are very hard to get, and a lot of people that buy them do so to flip them at highly inflated prices (not my intention at all).
I had a guy on TGP . net offer me two pristine original gold horsie Klons back in 2006 for $700 each and I thought it was highway robbery at the time. Really wish I’d ponied up because I’d be like $14k more rich right now.
I also should have bought that $80 bitcoin but here I am lmao

Arturia OTG audio interface, in case I wanted to record guitar and/or anything audio to my phone or computer with less hassle than what I’ve got already. Sure, a Zoom mic might make a little more sense, but I wouldn’t really see myself needing that functionality for now. I also have a good quality USB mic in my previous address, which again, is just sitting in a box.

A new desk ordered today coming tomorrow 180cm x 60cm prefect for my gear.
Also for my rack a new Furman power conditioner with the rack lights.
Finally after checking out some pedal power supply stuff I settled on the CIOX DC-7 to run mine
I should have my gear setup proper in the next couple of weeks… pics to follow soon.
