What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 3)

Osmose does this too. With exclamation points IIRC.

Every time I see these buttons, I think of chocolates. Yummy.

Live III. Going to experiment with using it as the hub for a hardware setup and connect via RME UCX II/Pulse 8/HW patchbay for audio inputs from synths, Elektron boxes, drum machines, and effects pedals.

A 53-year-old Moog 911 module just arrived from a seller in Toronto. They must have used a transmat beam, as I ordered it only yesterday!

My intentions is to replace one of the 911 modules in my recently acquired vintage Moog system. This ‘new’ 911 is in much better condition internally, while the existing module is in better cosmetic condition, so I’ll be swapping out parts to create a ‘hero’ module for the main cabinet, relegating the other module to a secondary cabinet.

Welp, safe to say the Digitakt and I got along really well. I spent a lot of time learning it along with regular Jamuary posts. Really loving the Elektron workflow, and I’m surprised how well I get along with a sample based instrument - something I didn’t really think I’d be interested in. I’m really loving the Dave Mech tutorial. I’m almost through the massive second module and I’ve learned a ton.

Aaaanyway, the DTII started complaining that it was lonely, so I got it a friend. My first plan with the Digitone II is to sit down and learn the hell out of it. I spent a half hour or so playing with it today and I’m already excited about the possibilities.

both have been out forever and coming in this week. This should be the end of my purchases for this year other than implexus which might be the only other consideration since it’s been out for about 5 years

Soundtoys introduced me to the devil loc goodness; now i get to try a clone of the original.

It`s a beauty!

A Digitakt would fit in there at least 4 times and it is heavy like 10 of them.

Always wanted to use a tape machine but never could justify the costs for my experiments. I really feel very lucky to get one for free - I will worship it!

This thing has clearly been well-used over the decades. The price was too reasonable to ignore, however, and I was always a sucker for a graphic EQ. It’ll go on top of one of my Moog cabinets for a bit of extra sweetening.

Here are the things I have purchased in the last 6 months: Yamaha SeqTrac plus dust cover, Teenage Engineering Riddim and Ting, and Arturia MicroBrute UFO.

Love the look of that UFO. Hmmmmmm

Got this today. Played with it for an hour and love it. It makes such nice sounds, quite a bit more than the polycinematic. I can’t wait to get a few more modules to complete my rack. This will be a part of many songs I feel.

ACCESS VIRUS TI2 DESKTOP

Looking forward to getting my hands on one of these again after 10 long years. Will add some nice sounds to my setup :grinning:

I will never sell my TI2 Desktop. I made that mistake once and had to search long and hard for another one in perfect shape after they stopped making them. It’s now permanently entrenched as the anchor of my setup.
