Love mine. You can get some vsts that were independently developed that allows you to get under the hood and go deeper with the patch editing, but you probably already knew that.
moreover, extensive MIDI implementation is the main reason why i grabbed this box.
already found a couple of editors, and thinking about making my own one for iPad.
Just ordered a model:cycles while I could still get 100 off on it. It seems the Elektron sale prices are starting to end, and I wasnât 100% sure Iâd get a cycles, until I realized if I changed my mind it would be more expensive very soon, so I jumped.
Intention: well, I was recently torn between this and a nanobox razzmatazz and went with the razzmatazz, which is âsort ofâ growing on me, little by little, and Iâm keeping it. But I really should have gone with my first instinct a month ago and gotten the cycles, which (after familiarizing myself with the razz) is definitely more my immediate niche. Iâll keep the razz for making funky ânoisesâ though, since it does seem to do that quite well.
watched this video:
seems like TB-3 is more on the plucky side, and sounds more aggressive with full open knobs.
since my primary use of 303 sound is old school goa â thatâs certainly cool.
anyway iâd also grab TB-03 if encounter for sweet price (and use it with some cool external distortion).
Glou Glou Loupé
Look how cute lossy and loupĂ© are togetherâŠ
Intentions: making odd loops to feed into Octatrack!
This is from 5 minutes of randomly pressing stuff on Loupé
Thatâs a good looking setup!
Yeah really slim, I like it⊠Iâve packed away my stuff due to a new years bash we held⊠so it will be great to put this on the mixer send and start making weird loops.
LAST purchase before NGNY - Dreadbox Typhon.
Intentions - jam on a compact techno setup with a 303, OT & Rytm 1.70
Not a purchase bug a gift⊠a label maker. So I can label all the various charging blocks and other things that need labels haha
which yamaha you got below it? I have to say those yamahas look very inviting with the controls they expose.
Essential equipment for the studio, office, shop, yacht, etc.
Quality of life improvement is hard to appreciate before you own your first label maker.
Absolutely!
It is a Yamaha CP73 Stage Piano. It is quite inviting and playable, and the sounds are nice. It is more a rompler with effects than a synthesizer - a more affordable alternative to the Nord Piano. There were some YouTube comparisons out around the time of its release.
The feel of the keys is nice to me - it is supposed to be a playable stage instrument after all. It is also a reasonable midi keyboard.
This beauty. Intentions are getting a second bit more freeform musical endeavor going thatâs a bit more âout thereâ
Ordered a Warm Audio WA-2A for another compressor option to track and mix vocals and other sources. I look forward to comparing it to my Lindell Audio LiN2A.
Also, purchased another ART P16 patchbay for easier connectivity of several new outboard pre-amps and processors.
Sweet! Eyeing one up, let us know how get along with it!
will have my first go with it in a minute
