If you want to go with that analogy… I think it’s more along the lines of the flagship S-Class has the auto-dimming and navigation prompting rearview mirror, and the C-Class has the standard rearview mirror, because features like that are what allow Mercedes to sell luxury cars at a premium. Owners of C-Class sedans aren’t owed S-Class features just because they exist. The S-Class ammenities might trickle down into the lower models over time, but by then there are a whole heap of new features that only the flagship model (OT MkIII?) will have.
