Tonverk Feature Requests

Dunno. I would have to try Akai one. FM wise, Digitone is limited, 3 operators + 1 linked. B1 and B2 share the same envelope, and the same weird level curve. Impossible to reproduce some simple 4 ops patches. I wish they’d implement a simple 4 ops machine with individual envelopes and levels (something like free DXI app, simple and more capable as 4 ops FM synth).

Yes even for an fm synth digitone is really weird in it’s implementation but I like the fact that’s not a pure fm synth but rather an hybrid with it’s filter. I like the fact that’s not trying to replicate classic fm but it’s his own thing entirely.

It would be able to replicate 4 ops with very simple tweaks. I tried to but I gave up.
B1 / B2 isn’t a plus for me unless you want randow FM results and now I think I prefer FM Drum machine on DN2, with 3 ops with their individual controls.
Substractive filter + amp is really basic. Poly Comb Filter is really interesting.

Anyway, off topic, an FM machine propably won’t happen on TV.
A “THRU” machine for inputs is an emergency…and comb filter as track filter with keytracking. Poly !

I think that personalised tags are essential. Instead of the typical tags (bass, lead, etc) I’m organising my multi sample collection by the different machines so I have DN multisamples, Tal Juno multisamples, etc. and when I’m naming that multi I tend to put first the name of the machine abbreviated.

Do the digis MK2 has this feature?

Further thought on my modulation lane suggestion I previously posted but summed up better I think:

‘Mod Machine’ available for bus tracks

Mod machine has 8 Parameters, A to F, that you can lock.

Then from the mod menu on any track you can pick A-F as a mod source and assign it wherever.

Basically allowing you to modulate something on a track at a different speed/rate/length to what the track is running at.
You could also apply the same modulation to multiple tracks and be able to tweak it at once on all tracks.

I believe if we have internal midi routing this can be done?

Right now crude way to do this is midi feedback via cable.
I’ve been having such a good time with TV.

I’ve just come here to say this, I was suprised to see I couldn’t easily map my MIDI controller to some performance macros on the buses and sends. I often set them up with the more extreme/mangling effects and have found this to be extremely limiting.

I feel the buses/sends are the stars in Tonverk and I’d expect to be able to modulate them in real time!

FR:
Interpolation between patterns.

A possibility to have interpolation (and the time it takes to do that) on selected patterns.

This would give TV a piece of the OT fader functionality.

:100: the browser is all I want.

Just found out that reintroducing (monomachine) slide trigs could be a better alternative.

Quantized recording start for on-beat sample recording on the fly.

Self-oscillating Lowpass Filter

Could be really useful as an insert FX for some sounds.
Or maybe I missed something ?
