it was tongue in cheek, it’s likely just a video.
No sorry. I only kept an MPC 500 after MPC 1000 I sold after having Octatrack. ![]()
Digitone 1 has 4 operators, but B1 an B2 levels are linked with 1 weird curve.
Digitone 2 has polyphonic comb filters + fm, other machines that suits me better. I wish they could add a basic 4 individual ops fm !
4ops feature request for TV !
But saying all these Elektron machines can be replaced by an MPC One seems exaggerated to me. ![]()
Ah and @pseudor4ndom sorry for misunderstanding this, I didn’t know “paired down”, and as it was followed by “all in one”…
Lol no worries I understand the miscommunication. For your information the latest mpc’s support OPx-4 which is a four operator dual filter 32 slot mod matrix FM synth that runs natively on mpc standalone. So ya they handle that pretty easily. And of course do sampling, multisampling and have dozen other synth engines. Hence why I said digitone tonverk octatrack etc… check out some mpc live iii performance fx demos on youtube as well. Modern mpc does have a looper of controllable length which you can run while cueing other patterns, A B transitions etc. seriously light-years ahead of mpc 1000.
Yeah I’ve been asking for this, it’s got me on the fence to just sell the tonverk cause it’s more than capable to have that function. Pretty sure they won’t give it to us until years from now ![]()
i need this !
I would like the option to sort the projects in the order of ‘last opened’, instead of just by alphabet.
In 7 hours there might be an Overbridge coming… Let’s see
I’m in favor of additional options that let’s the user
- “sort by date” (initial project creation date)
- “sort by date” (last save operation)
Ascending/Descending
Now that the OXI sequencer has released a new update, I know the name of a type of sequencing I really enjoy: stage sequencing. In stage sequencing you can determine length of each step independently, so they are not all the same time division from the bpm. I only knew of this before because of Gooooose’s sequencer 16n, one of my favorite sequencers of all time, and one which I thought proposed concepts that represented true musical freedom and creativity.

I would truly, truly love to see stage sequencing in Tonverk.
Relatedly, I would like to see independent step length per subtrack, so as to have the evolving drum patterns elektrons are capable of otherwise.
Now that the twisted electrons flexfm is going to have independent bpm per track, and more synths are implementing tunings besides 12-tet, I am feeling more hopeful that major hardware companies are opening up to enabling music making without “traditional” constraints.
So yes, I would really love stage sequencing in the TV, I want it so bad…!
You should probably get into eurorack then. ![]()
And stage sequencing should get into Tonverk!
I would like a ping pong loop mode for the single player. So once you reach the end loop point playback reverses and then reverses again when hitting the start loop point.
I don’t know if this was said but it would be great to have FX presets. And (I guess this was said many many times) collect samples of the project like Polyend tracker or Ableton (I think it’s essential in a machine with hinders of samples).
Just a quick search shows that both fx presets and ping pong was mentioned in sept 25
Presets for individual fx, buss groups etc would be good as things get more complex … tagging them etc as standard too
Also presets for midi cc encoder settings and names though it hasn’t appeared on any previous device yet afaik
Please make Pattern/Track SPEED an LFO destination.
Bumping this. There needs to be some way to move patterns between projects, i really hope Elektron is working on this or have it on their roadmap at least.
Can we get a common mix parameter for both oscillators in wavefinder instead of the current individual levels?
they’ve never done it for any of their other devices, so i would be surprised to see it for TV where it would be more complicated. but it would sure be nice!
I would love to see velocity as a mod source. e.g. for the filter frequency so I don’t have to sample multiple velocity layers and just add the effects in tonverk.
There’s an fm synth plugin in the akais but even with that I really doubt you can output the same thing with an akai
