Parameter Page + NO value reset, à la Digitone, Syntakt, Digitakt.
For the life of me I can’t understand how such a simple function that is already engrained in all Digiboxes users’ brain and is highly useful and performative is not in place. Ok there is the perform button but is nowhere near the immediacy of button + NO after you mess around heavily something.
just wanted to check (and try not to go off topic, … but it might)
does parameter page + NO restore the page to ‘factory’ defaults , OR does it restore parameters to the setting from the track sound if one is loaded (or in tonverk terms it would be instrument / preset once implemented )
i havent thought about it much before and the gear isnt nearby for me to check.
Parameter Page + Clear (play) will reset to machine defaults, but not to the saved value which I think is what @FormalForward is asking for.
Parameter Page + No to reset page to saved values would be super nice to have.

Exactly, functionality wise is exactly like what you are saying with subtle differences in implementation.
For the implementation the idea is to change as minimum as posible the current workflow an UI. For the same reason it should work as current workflow by default. In fact this feature could be optional in the settings.
With this idea, It could work for tracks and also subtracts.
Currently inside a pattern, there is only one sequence of notes per sound for both single player and subtracts.
The functionality is to add the extra ability to store multiple note sequences on each pattern. The UI could be a single parameter with a sequence number ( by default is 1 so everything behaves as usual). If you select a different sequence number on this parameter the notes on the steps update accordingly but all sound and fx related parameters stay the same.
Yes, the issue is how to do it in a way that the UX makes sense and once its realeased it can never change (otherwise existing workflows break)
I was just throwing out ideas. I feel like the elektron folks have a better understanding of requirements.
I know that it doesnt work this way, but since the feature requests channel is bloated with requests, it would be great to get a strong signal if there’s a future for something. 
I really want to keep the Tonverk but i’m just not sure how to adapt the workflow to get what I need.
I have the analog four, which just got updates a few years into its life so there is hope
An auto listen for presets feature would be great
Amplitude envelope following modulators that can listen to other tracks and buses

I just saw it’s almost a year since release .
Loving mine but i do have to admit: The sample editor is bare bones and i cannot figure out why? TV is after all mostly a sample based machine. Id love more FX too but really the next update should introduce all commonly known sampler funktions. Like setting start and loop point, slicing, crossfades, streching…come on Elektron. Thats basic stuff.
For what it’s worth, and I’ve said this before on one of the many threads:
When I spoke to them at Machina Bristronica last year just after the TV launch, they mentioned that they were looking into how best to approach sample editing for such a complex instrument on such a small screen.
Great list! I would say this is my current list, in order:
New feature: Slicer in transform menu
Add an extra option in the transform menu: “Start point: Slice”
To divide the sample easily into slices based on the number of trigs and the chosen STRT and END values.
Fingers crossed but I don’t need or want slicing as I got this as a melodic sampler, which needs melodic features - does slicing come top of list in that use case? Curious
This is an interesting angle, if Elektron had infinite resources then slicing would of course be welcome and I’d 100% use it and love it. But arguably they’ve only got so much time to develop the product, so developing new different, interesting features we might not have thought of is perhaps better a better use of resources?
Definitely multi sample loop points should be a priority
After that, slicing/grids and timestretch should be implemented in some manner on one or 2 of the machines.

One thing that helped put things into perspective was Ezbot video talking about how these are live machines and can’t therefore have too many functions per button or you lose yourself in layers that slow down your workflow …and that each box has a pure scope and purpose for areason to keep us working fast and fluidly and with focus
an everything box to my brain would melt it , and the tonverk did a pretty good job of stopping me from finishing any songs sofar due to it getting me lost in its quite “relatively complex” workflow vs my trusty DN2 .
it was interesting POV to hear on how elektron view their design philosophy in any case esp with the tiny screen
Infinite resources?! They could use Claude to add a comprehensive slicing feature in a matter of minutes…as with pretty much any other feature.
