Oh…I don’t have any inside-info!
I am just saying that I’ll likely get it, if it is an OP-Z follow up.
Maybe it’s a breakout box that Move will be compatible with from day one
I’ve heard some rumors that TE have been heavily mentioned by Apple at their recent event (which somehow showed a lot of setups people are actually using with cameras, music equipment and graphics etc etc. and I think there’s no „active“ usb c hub which could be OpLab 2 and therefore in combination with other hardware, one person can control and sync any soft & hardware + lights + visuals
Moscow Rules. We understand.
Blink twice if it’s a collab and they’ve made the Octatrack MK3.
What event?
M4s
Where is that image from?
These fonts blurry af but they look like futura which is ableton’s font based on
It’s from a blog post from 2010.
Don’t know why @JohnnyEgo posted it.
certainly sounds like an op-z!
It looks like Gentle Giant is in the video. What could this mean…?
drum synth & AI Video gen
lol, TE are still riding high on the medieval vibes from their previous release if they’re posting gentle giant videos. That’s the original by the way.
Some of the funniest stank faces from the bassist and the drummer.
if no AI it’s def. OP-Z related
maybe drum synths & new synth engines, filter plugs, photomatic 2
Stereo audio OP-Z in aluminum casing. Take my money.
i stopped into scandinavian photo today here in stockholm. they said so far they have nothing scheduled for delivery on wednesday from TE. which means that they wouldn’t have the release in store on thursday so most likely its online only on the 14th. when the ko2 dropped, they of course had shipped units out way ahead of time, hence the guitar center leak of the device. as well the employee i talked to overall acknowledged the op-xy and at the least confirmed that something was coming from TE on thursday.
but yeah, seems that this is going to be the op-z follow up… especially since it has the op prefix, hard to think it would be something else that major to warrant that naming convention. though i’d personally be excited to get a small footprint flip tile board for live visuals. can’t wait for the new z though!!!
If it is a new op z, why is it called op-xy? it doesnt make sense to me, and it has to be something diferent, and knowing teenage engineering, radically diferent. The Op-1 evolved to op-1 field, a more refined version. The pocket operator KO evolved to a Ep KO, it was a overall not only in capabilities but also a total hardware overall. The OP heritage makes me think that this is something at the more complex and “pro” level - if we can say this about teenage engineering- but diferent enough for their actual line.
Im going all in in something radically new, mid price bettwe the EP amd field line! Looking forward to it!
ok ok i can get on board with all of that! yeah let’s see if its an extension of the op-z in spirit with a total hardware revision and not just a “fieldification” of the original z…
