Syntakt standalone music

Great stuff @dzyndzel ! Can see you had fun with it.

A friend of mine made a music video out of clips from trashy 80’s thrillers and old computer commercials for one of the tracks from my all-Syntakt album. This was the first track I made on the thing. Tbh it seems kind of quaint now but it works and kind of sounds like a run through of lots of the basic sounds the box can make

Other than a rim shot and HH sample this is all SY. Randomly made a bunch of different synth loops, randomly did a simple bass line, threw em all together and it ended up being a lot of fun.

I was playing your video on my phone and my 14 year old daughter (who has a much better taste in music than me) said “Dad, who’s that?”. I said it was just a synth video and she said “sounds good”. Believe me, she doesn’t often say that about synth user videos, and she really knows her music, so I guess that means you’re down with the kids :+1:t2:

This made my day! If I’m still in with the young folks I’ll take that as a win! Thanks man! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks. Simple is all I can do!

One pattern left to do its thing. I think I used 7 tracks out of 12 in total. Set up a few probability triggers and recorded the main out with no further processing. I really like the saturation of the FX block when the kick hits on this. Lovely little box.

Hello All !
I have a Syntakt for 2 weeks now
Yesterday I was invited to play at a radio show, and I did a ST only thing.
Starts around 28 min.

This is great! I definitely need to get deeper into conditional trigs :metal:

This is really nice. I’ve no inclination to try generative myself, but I really like your end result.

Nice! Takes me back! And the arrangement, development, and sound design were all things I want to learn from.

This is awesome. I can actually hear a faster version of Aquatic Ambience on top of this.

Copy patterns paste to another pattern
For another flair take new pattern and reduce step count to crazy things like 11/16 etc copy and mangle save the project each time rinse repeat then you have a bunch of patterns you switch to along the way

Love it
