Another quick and dirty jam with my new Syntakt soundpack.
This took me on a journey. A very good one too
That’s awesome! That is always my goal. Glad to hear it worked
Ok Syntakt. But listen to all those kicks, you can hear that the simple envelope is limiting… I think at least.
I added an exp lfo on pitch, then ratio. Fixed settings except depth.
These and other parameters can be modulated manually to taste, with plocks, with modulations (Velocity mod being recordable)…
Here are my first 13 patterns I made on the Syntakt a couple months ago.
I was actually going to start a new project for some ideas I had in mind. Switched to my first project to check what I made back then.
Thought I’d share the goods with the world.
There are a couple really great songs that may have the potential for finished songs.
All techno, from deep to dub to raw - something for everyone😂

Hi all,
I share some syntakt-only music on my socialz. Here are some links for your network of choice
. I am always happy to start a conversation, so please let me know what you think!
That sounds like music from classic arcade games of the 80s that I grew up on!
First track after two weeks with my first Electron box. I was thinking about returning it, but I think I get why people love these things now. This is such a fun little box.
Brand new to these forums and pretty new to Elektron in general… this syntakt I’ve been learning for the past few months is my first experience with any of their instruments and I’ve definitely been enjoying it.
I just released this project of weird seasonal hip hop that was made almost exclusively on the syntakt. I hope you find something on here that you’re into… regardless, this seems like an appropriate space to nerd out about the details and I definitely want to clarify what the syntakt did and didn’t do.
This was recorded away from home so I had a pretty minimal setup… I was visiting family so I didn’t have a ton of time to myself and as a result, all of the lyrics were freestyled because I wanted to get something down without spending a bunch of time writing.
For all tracks with vocals, I used the ST as my audio interface to record vocals through my iPhone running GarageBand as the microphone.
Track 2 was the only beat made mostly outside of the syntakt - I made it on the Synthstrom Deluge but ran it through the ST to record into Ableton. It features some overdrive from the ST as well as some additional instrumentation.
Tracks 4 & 8 have samples that were coming from the Koala app on my phone, running thru the ST’s inputs.
Everything aside from that is pretty much 100% syntakt. Each song was recorded as one track over usb into Ableton. I’d like to experiment with overbridge and multitrack recording in the future but I found this to work with relatively few headaches and still give me the ability to improvise and perform these tracks out to my liking.
I mastered each track with Ozone 9 and used some RC-20 on the actual syntakt audio for track 8 but that’s it as far as what was done to the ST audio in Ableton… I recorded the vox as separate tracks, after the beats had been laid down so they were mixed “outside of the box” if you will. But all the music aside from track 2 is pretty much raw syntakt audio with just some light EQ and maximizing from Ozone.

This sounds nice. Will get a proper another time as I’m in a stupid costume about to let of fireworks
Released the singles for two upcoming EP’s today. First one is a kind of footwork/house blend, and the second is just heavy footwork (needed a palatte cleanser). Longsword has a bit of Model: Samples on it as well (the vocal sample) but everything else is syntakt
Hey folks ![]()
I put my heart into this one. Very pleased with how it came out. Let me know what you think ![]()
