Could be the grid… but you would be quite wide of the mark 
Is it a grid editor for placing trigs? I always wanted one but never thought it was possible. It is 16x16, makes me wonder

Patterns can only be edited offline (USB disk mode). Of course it’s possible to decode the pattern and project files on the CF card and change the trig settings, but it will never be in realtime until they implement Sysex 
As mentioned, very much in an “Alpha” state; presume if you are putting your hand up for this, whatever it actually is, you realise what that means and what it entails?

Presumably trying something in it’s early early stages, like beta testing but more likely to not work? I assumed you were putting the feelers out to check if it works on other systems. For all I know though it doesn’t exist yet and you’re doing a questionnaire. You might be looking to build a bunny rabbit octatrack hybrid. I’m sure whatever it is it’s cool and I’m happy to help if I can
