Price increase

The idea of skyrocketing prices with nothing left to buy seems pretty unsavory.

That caused Covid AND Brexit? My gosh, it’s all so clear

Regardless of covid and brexit we were going to get fuked over by bankers and their fiat currency. It always happens.

It’s built into the system to transfer wealth from poor to the rich. I thought it would’ve already happened way before these 2 events. Don’t let them trick you into thinking its because of anything other than the system theyve created.

Elektron website UK price for Digitakt hasn’t actually gone up, it IS more but Elektron collect the VAT now, which they didn’t a couple months back.

I got mine at L&M about 3 weeks ago for $1049. Missed the price increase thankfully

No problem. Ideally you want to get some money together so just sell one of your beach houses for some quick cash. Then you’re gonna need somewhere to set up HQ so just ask mum/dad for a couple of floors in one of their buildings. It’s really that easy. People are just lazy.

Its a problem, if we stop the demand, in a world where scarcitiy is the new normal, the scarcity would decline.
So we have to create finally a new moral.

If the news continue to spread fear about scarcity, the race continues.
As fear is the business of the news -guess what will happen.
Id say drop out of any news network - problem solved -they need someone buying into their shit -encourage everyone else to stop fear mongering.

you can still find Digitakts for $600 or less on Reverb. or sometimes for even better prices on here. and you can get a mk1 OT for only slightly more…

used gear is almost always the way to go. help someone else feed their gear lust or changes in need, and help yourself save some cash. win-win. yeah, the higher NEW price of a DT will drive up the used prices. but the used market is more competitive and you can find deals, versus fixed manufacturer retail prices.

this only applies to nyc

Over 900 euros for digiton!!!

Oof. What makes that mistake (or genuine price rise) even more laughable is that you can save €100 by getting the Digitone with a case:

there’s a used one with all sorts of sound banks added over at MW for $525.

True. Wonder when they will realize.

Difficult times. Either people are out of washing machines to cannibalze for chips or it’s just normal inflation during time of ongoing economy war and physical war. :disappointed:

Or it’s just wirth it after the song mode upgrade

Hmm, so with the old IoT and every damn thing connected , wireless music systems and smarthouses, generative sequencing and AI music, why the hell can’t all my appliances interact and make me some mood music on the side?

Maybe they can be programmed to pump out some techno on a Saturday morning that slows down into something chill and ambient the more chores you knock over.

Went to elektron site. 1099 eur for a syntakt, 949 for a digitakt… quite bad

Wow, that’s a bit surprising, considering Syntakt launched at 950€ and then soon dropped to 890€. There even was a sale during Christmas for I think 800 €.

Just don‘t buy stuff for that price. Only way. If they need to increase prices because of higher cost, maybe. But a sale for 800€ and then 300 up? Greed.

Just don‘t buy for that price. The Flagships have gone up in price too, pretty massive over the month.
Don‘t feed the Inflation
