I would love a “nudge” in perf mode and now that I think about it, tempo fx in performance mode would be sick as well. I don’t have my tracker in front of me – they haven’t added tempo to perf mode have they?
Got my tracker for a very good price, with broken jogwheel advertised 300€.
I can fix it with a replacement encoder, but I would love to have a diffrent encoder with a
better shaft( metal, no dent maybe). This would maybe kill the wobble.
Is there an alternative that somebody knows of.
The world of encoders is quite confusing.
Hello,
Tracker is a Dream come true for all of us who created Music with Noisetracker, Soundtracker … in Commodore-Amiga-Time. Tracker is easy to handle and the workflow is very very fast and direct.
I love Polyend Tracker.
This new Album I created entirely with the Tracker (Standalone). No editing or post production.
No they’ve not. It would be a great / powerful feature you’re right
I spent a bit of time trying to find one, and even ordered some which turned out to be the wrong size. I drew a blank. I’d love to be proved wrong. There was a bit of a search in discord with a few people looking which came up with nothing. Switching for a new plastic shaft one is easy enough though and the one I charged seems to be lasting fine (just avoid “pushing” the encoder - turn with two fingers only)
i’ve asked a few times here, but no one with an MK3 has opened theirs yet to show us what reinforced jog wheel really means. i hope that means it’s really improved, and no one has had to replace theirs yet…
So I will replace mine with an original bourns…saaad
Ive just received a Brand new unit from an established retailer in UK. One or two keys at first stayed down when pressed. But after repeated use they are not and are fine now. But still some buttons when pressed on the edges feel like they are sometimes catching or not smooth. Very minimal but there. Will they get better over time?
Yep, it took around 2-4 weeks with mine to have no more keys stuck and everything running smoothly. I have mine for six months and I can not not remember a stuck key for at least 5 months.
Cheers. Thats reassuring to know.
How is it possible to do an vibrato effect on the instrument? There seems noch stepeffect for this…
and: is there a way to change the samples pitch when it´s already triggered? for example, i trigger a sample, let it play for 6 steps, and then increase the pitch a little bit on every next step…
and last: i´ve heard two examples on youtube on the arpeggiator, and it sounds a little bit wonky for me…are there any further experiences?
LFO sent to tune (or perhaps fine tune) is probably your best bet.
ah ok…thanks! so i “lost” the lfo to achive an vibrato…hmm…i would prefer an step effect…
There is a Finetune LFO step effect that you can throw in FX1 or FX2 slot.
It’s been a good minute since I had a Tracker but I recall doing this with mine. It was in the step effects. Maybe even listed as pitch or tune.
Yes, there is also a “Tune” step FX, to change it manually per step.
There ya go. Thanks for adding the detail :0)
great! didn´t realize the tune thingies…
Does anyone know what to use to clean the screen? I have some smudges on the thing and used my soft shirt to try and rub them out but it made it less smudgy but more like it’s a thin cloudy layer now.
