I now CC A-E [F] is there but where do you set the value from 1 1o 127
Isnāt that set in the FX row too?
that used to be set in config. I THOUGHT it was in FX but when I tried it did nothing. so I thought that that was getting the amountā¦
They changed it, just like the addition of more Midi related features.
so the the Value = [at the bottom] CC A?
cuz I tried that with no luck. but the way it was setup in 1.3.02b werks perfect
Look your Github postā¦
'MIDI CCās are now settable for each MMxx (when selected as instrument on a track).
To access settings, select MMxx (ie MM01 for Channel 1), then when you click youāll see all the settings for that MIDI channel, which will then be used for any other Step using the same Channel.ā
Itās not a bug!
OH SHITā¦okay thats WAY diff. much more optionsā¦but not as direct as befiore,
thanks man.
Youāre welcomeā¦
So I tried sending CC to switch patterns in performance mode but it seems itās not possible to do an instant switch, only a sequential one which makes it a lot less useful to me. Anyone know if Iām wrong here?
What CCās are used to address patterns changing?
And Pattern length for that matter?
They are not technically listed in the manual per FX. Just referenced by group.
Have you tried this approach while not in Performance Mode ?
Off the top of my head I canāt remember, I was in the middle of working on a track when I had an idea I wanted to use it for but wasnāt able to figure out and didnāt want to break my flow on it too much.
I understood it as the lower set of ccās was for the pattern change, when I used them the track start flashing in the same way that it would if using a sequential change.
Yeah the manual is a bit vague in general so it can be difficult to grasp something like this from it alone, Iāll maybe contact Polyend about it to get some clarity.
Iāve not yet tried it outside of performance mode but Iām pretty sure itās for performance mode only.
I really enjoyed that, top marks man. Iām still getting to grips with the tracker on itās own, but Iām planning to begin using it with my modular too. Are you sending clock to a Midi to Cv module, to another modular sequencer, and are you using the tracker to control any CCās? My OT is currently doing this job (and doing it extremely well) but Iām always looking to try new things with my gear.
dude thanks again! I was floundering. already acclimated to this setupā¦so good
Great thread so far, I“m totally interested in getting one soon.
Is there a swing function for individual patterns ?
Hello fellow trackersā¦
Can anyone comment on the CCās used to address Pattern Fx? As mentioned before, CCās are listed as groups, not per destination.
Or have I just missed the CC implementation chart somewhere? The manual is vague at best.
Most synths have a full chart.
cheery bye
Set your CC in the FX lane (labeled CC A-F)
Assign CCās to A-F in MIDI Instrument Parameters ā that is, select MIDI channel as your instrument, then push the Instrument Parameters button.
thereās no swing per se, but you can use the tempo FX to create swing
