I now CC A-E [F] is there but where do you set the value from 1 1o 127

Isn’t that set in the FX row too?

that used to be set in config. I THOUGHT it was in FX but when I tried it did nothing. so I thought that that was getting the amount…

They changed it, just like the addition of more Midi related features.

Look your Github post…

'MIDI CC’s are now settable for each MMxx (when selected as instrument on a track).

To access settings, select MMxx (ie MM01 for Channel 1), then when you click you’ll see all the settings for that MIDI channel, which will then be used for any other Step using the same Channel.’

It’s not a bug!

So I tried sending CC to switch patterns in performance mode but it seems it’s not possible to do an instant switch, only a sequential one which makes it a lot less useful to me. Anyone know if I’m wrong here?

What CC’s are used to address patterns changing?
And Pattern length for that matter?
They are not technically listed in the manual per FX. Just referenced by group.

Have you tried this approach while not in Performance Mode ?

Another Tracker + Modular session (noisy and fucked up I prefer to warn you in advance hahaha)

Off the top of my head I can’t remember, I was in the middle of working on a track when I had an idea I wanted to use it for but wasn’t able to figure out and didn’t want to break my flow on it too much.

I understood it as the lower set of cc’s was for the pattern change, when I used them the track start flashing in the same way that it would if using a sequential change.

Yeah the manual is a bit vague in general so it can be difficult to grasp something like this from it alone, I’ll maybe contact Polyend about it to get some clarity.

I’ve not yet tried it outside of performance mode but I’m pretty sure it’s for performance mode only.

I really enjoyed that, top marks man. I’m still getting to grips with the tracker on it’s own, but I’m planning to begin using it with my modular too. Are you sending clock to a Midi to Cv module, to another modular sequencer, and are you using the tracker to control any CC’s? My OT is currently doing this job (and doing it extremely well) but I’m always looking to try new things with my gear.

dude thanks again! I was floundering. already acclimated to this setup…so good :+1:t6:

Great thread so far, I“m totally interested in getting one soon.
Is there a swing function for individual patterns ?

Hello fellow trackers…
Can anyone comment on the CC’s used to address Pattern Fx? As mentioned before, CC’s are listed as groups, not per destination.

Or have I just missed the CC implementation chart somewhere? The manual is vague at best.
Most synths have a full chart.

cheery bye

Set your CC in the FX lane (labeled CC A-F)

Assign CC’s to A-F in MIDI Instrument Parameters — that is, select MIDI channel as your instrument, then push the Instrument Parameters button.

there’s no swing per se, but you can use the tempo FX to create swing
