Polyend Tracker

Is it possible to use this as an interface like you would with an elektron machine? Does it have class compliant audio?

It has bidirectional MIDI class-compliant communication

Same issue here and I find that statement of Polyend very weird to be honest.
Every class compliant device I have tried with the iConnect devices works except the Tracker so perhaps Polyend need to change something instead…

Anyway I really hope this gets solved, because I really prefer USB midi and now need a second adapter.

Only midi via USB, no audio

Last year, I was thinking ā€œI’ve been rocking Sunvox, I don’t think I need this.ā€

Now I’m thinking ā€œI’ve been rocking Sunvox and now I KNOW I need this.ā€

Hmm, I know what I’m doing today

I actually haven’t updated since 1.2x

Edit:

Just got home… …it begins.

Well, it’s a bit rough around the edges :stuck_out_tongue: Just used a bunch of my 4U modular samples. So far no issues. Time to try something with a bit more dynamics. Things came out a bit squished on this one.

Wow they’re quick with the updates, love to see it, I was just about to pick it up for a session and easier beat slicing is exactly what I wanted.
By that I mean making it easier to sequence, once a break has been sliced…Using fill FX with random slices works really well I’m just not used to it fully yet, so far each iteration is adding the features i wanted it to have. Even just making them more accessible.

Do they never sleep and rest at PolyEnd?

Firmware 1.3.1b2 released.

Fixes

  • 1.3.1b1 regression: CUT/FAD/OFF on beat-sliced instruments could become incorrectly translated to C-0 (#652),
  • 1.3.1b1 regression: Rolls R1-12 Rv1-16 broken (#654).

You have support in general, but this is SUPPORT in capital!

It seems every time I switch mine on there is a new update to play with :joy:

Well done Polyend I’m so in love with the Tracker :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I used to think Novation was good with their updates for the Curcuit, but Polyend are on a whole other level.

So glad I made the switch over to tracker (which was fairly impulsive by my standards).

Yeah Polyend is putting the big manufacturers (Roland, Korg, etc.) to shame. If a small company like Polyend can do this, there’s little excuse for the big companies with big resources to be so stingy with their updates.

While Polyend is doing a great job with the updates, I think it’s a matter of survival really. The big companies have millions coming in by sales with the hundreds of products they sell, while Polyend is a smaller company with a small array of products, so if they want to survive they need to offer good products and good service.
This doesn’t obviously take away from the great work they’ve been doing

Nah mine just grey screened me when I tried to open it. For me was really hoping Final Fantasy 1 was going to run . I just named my 4 hero’s of light and got a back screen. Couldn’t handle the lightning I guess?

Anyone experimented with sending the Tracker CC’s? I don’t fully understand what ways we can control it in performance mode, are we able to select patterns with CC / trigger the various performance effects? That’d be incredible if we can!

Hey there folks ! I made a new ā€œTips & Tricksā€ video about remixing acid lines in the Tracker, it’s going live in 30 minutes over here for those who want to ask questions in the chatroom  :

I put in 1.3.1b2 and the MIDI Out setting for CCs is gone. WTF :frowning:

so I went back to 1.3.0b2 and the CC Out is there. but MIDI completely stopped werking. went to 1.30. and 1.3.1b2 and my MIDI doesnt send anymore.

CCs are huge for me…but the all MIDI not werking is killing me

please tell me I’m missing something

[reloading the project fixed the MIDI…but the setting the CC value for the CC FX is no where to be found. does anyone know where that went? or that that gone]
