I think it looks great, but I really dislike the position of the line out. Makes it super inconvenient to have it sit on the lap

i know a lot of polish game devs have been changing jobs to take advantage of EU remote work / big jump in salaries to cope with cost of living…
many countries are similar, plus chip costs / shipping costs … even crisps have gone up 25% and thats potato and oil… chips have gone up in the uk too (the deep fried potato type)

Yes, fair enough for 20% increase in price then I guess. Graphs do help visualise reasons for stuff.
Thankfully these aren’t made of toilet paper or kitchen wipes as those have increased about 70-80% in the last 3 years

I was quasi interested as I would like something really portable but to actually have buttons (why I’m not super fond of making music on my phone or ipad), but, $700? Damn, that is way more than I thought it would be.
I was honestly thinking $300 or maybe $400.
Oh well…

I’m merely indicating that we have plenty examples of hardware that was exotic and unique when they were introduced, but it wasn’t until we had perspective that we better understood the problem space.

I’m just indicating from my perspective, that the ID and ergonomics of this device is not a good solution and only time will prove that the design decision was a bad decision.
I could be totally wrong and i am okay with this.
Time will tell as it always does.

Yeah, this is a real dealbreaker for me, having the M8 and the easiness to put in the notes on the grid (and likewise on the OG Polyend Tracker) it’s strange you only have a video with a keystep putting in notes?
People are mad because they wanted something new, not a reshelled 4 year old device with a mic, at $700…

I quite liked that geeky short sci fi film they made, thought it was quite good from both an artistic/quality perspective and a marketing one.
As for the ergonomics possibly a missed opportunity not to have given it a gamepad port - there are tons of affordable multi button ergonomic game controllers for a variety of systems. I guess you’d lose a bit of portability but you could have it optional.
