Same! I would miss the faders, though :-/
For some parameters they are really better suited
Ahaha just had same thought
350 would put it at around half the oxi mk1 retail price no ? If they somewhat manage to keep it around the 300 mark, theyāll sell tons !
Yeah i am afraid so. 450 is something i would be willing to drop on it (similar to roto control) if it has good functionality for elektron boxes
Wow, I thought this one was more around 600! Thatās a really good price as well. Indeed, making the E16 as expensive as a motorized controller could be counter-productive.
EDIT: Sh*t, now Iām also considering the Rotoā¦
Itās very good, i swear by it. But in my case i use it only for Ableton Live
Donāt you also consider the monolit ? ![]()
That one is around 1k? Or like 800
Yep the price isā¦Steep to say the least !
I am⦠Option paralysis ![]()
I actually wrote to Light Reft to ask if they were considering adding a couple of features (essentially, a more elaborate MIDI looper), given the hefty price tag. No reply yet, but it wasnāt too long ago. I really like the size and feature set of this one as well. And it has faders.
I saw some good videos with it, and can see potential, but price is just to high for my budget
Letās talk about the faderpunk thenā¦! ![]()
Indeed, I wonder who they sell it to
(Well Cuckoo has one, but did he pay for it?)
Coming back to the E16, what I like about it is the (seemingly) flexible/easy macro rooting. Not sure the Roto is as flexible from that point of view (Iām currently scanning the manual).
Arf, too big for me, I havenāt even considered it, Iām obsessed with portability (which is why the Monolit is still an option on the table)
E15 is a synth by Roland. Seems they are running out of names these days.
i might buy this, to pair with my DNII and then use the snapshots and morph functions for the modwheel of each track.
Surprised we have not had more sneakpeaks at the E16 yet
They make it a light version of the Neuzeit Drop
My plan also
to be some kind of a light neuzeit drop it must handle midi in for clock (from any elektron groovebox) and midi out to modulate the groovebox.
i would love that!
