Oxi Instruments E16 MIDI-Controller

Looks like Oora trialling a new 16 knob Oxi midi controller (all knobs) in his Tonverk video. Think he refers to it as the E16

I was curious too!
Yay, Tonverk is real, but hearing Oxi made a different controller got my interest just as much.

This one is even better than EC4, the form factor with 16 knobs just makes sense, with the screen, its also easy editable on the device. Top job from oxi. Scenes seem easy to setup. Would be cool if they could set them up on different pages. So one page with only scenes would be cool.

Kind of steals the video lol

For convenience, here’s the video cued up to his bonus premiere of the E16. It’ll be interesting to see how it compares to Electra One Mini

Looks good, hope it’s battery powered with Bluetooth

Reading the comments a lot of people were interested.

Certainly caught my eye straight away.

Proper double take. “Hang on a minute, that’s not a dj tech tools”

Double nerd me. :stuck_out_tongue:

OXI was just at Knobcon 2025 this past weekend. Coverage was rather sparse, so maybe they showed it there - likely they did, at least privately.

Looking forward to the E16 specific video.

Yeah, have to join the “it stole the show” crowd. If the price is in a sane ballpark, will buy an E16 or two day-1.

I really like the look of this for controlling Battalion on my iPad. Anxious to hear more and what the price will be.

This looks nice. Hopefully, it is cheaper than the Faderfox EC4, which has gone up a lot, lately.

That E16 interests me at least as much as the Tonverk, looks dope. I have a MIDI FighterTwister and a FaderFox EC4 and this looks like an updated mash up of both with a bunch of other capabilities added.

This plus the new Neuzeit Drop could be quite something.

Some interesting controllers coming soon… This and the Neuzeit Drop. And the Modern MIDI Timepod.

Kind of made a promise to myself that the next big monies that I spend on gear will be to make my already existing gear more usable - meaning midi controllers, mixers and the sort. So glad to see some good options taking shape.

Interesting about the morphing

“ Intriguingly, you can morph between snapshots, much like you can with the Octatrack crossfader (a feature sadly missing from the Tonverk).”

I sold my EC4 and almost instantly regretted it, but not enough to buy another. This seems very much worth waiting for - I was torn on going for a MidiFighter if I did pick up another controller.
