Oxi Instruments E16 MIDI-Controller

I still don’t understand what “Sometimes they come back” is supposed to mean.

I hope it is reliable as the EC4 has been for me a solid workhorse. Not to mention I greatly appreciate the ability to use it computer free. There is nothing worse then running into a MIDI issue and being forced to connect it to a computer and fool around with an app while you were in the zone jamming…

Can’t help you there. Maybe what you brought up was already addressed in a Tonverk thread.

The E16 was all i cared about in this video.

Just heard from a friend who is an OXI user and thus hangs on their Discord server, that the developer had said earlier this week on the Discord server that the price will be between 400 and 500 euros. Not sure, if that price had VAT included. And no idea what it could be in US, with the tariffs and all that jazz, as the company is from Spain.

Wow, that would set it above the Roto-Control, price-wise

(But the Roto is very aggressively priced, considering what it offers)

Has your friend heard of any release date, by any chance?

Nope, only their own prediction for the price bracket and also that the chassis of the unit will be made out of aluminium.

Hopefully it’s more towards 400 then 500. :crossed_fingers:
My prediction was 350 on lower and 450 on higher side.

Has there been any videos since Oora’s?

So that’s quite soon, cool!

Yes but wouldn’t get hopes up! Not 100%

Manuel just confirmed the launch is not part of that Haloween thing. Also confirmed no battery in the E16

Guess we will have to be a litte more patient :grinning:

Then 400 to 500 euro would be ridiculous price

Yes, I have to agree. That is definitely too expensive for me. I’d get a 2nd hand Faderfox ec4 instead.

Or ec4 and uc4 combo

If you have no interest in snapshots, nor in linking several parameters to a single knob on the fly, nor in morphing betweens configurations, there is indeed a number of alternatives.

Glad I didn’t hold out for that e16 instead of the Neuzeit Drop, twice the price but way more features - but I guess the size will put some off.

Surprised the E16 doesn’t have a battery when the Oxi One does, and Oxi have some experience with battery powered devices.

Wouldn’t give up my Midi Fighter twister for this either which would be about half the price or less.

This is what made me the most interested in this device.
Just surprised also that there is no battery.
I would assume they did it to cut the cost, but this price rumor makes me wonder
