Overbridge 2.0.30 Public Beta

Are you sure you’re not on 1.11 Beta? Is your DT in OB Mode?

Yes firmware v 1.11, and overbridge mode on. Ciuld it be related to system preferences setup?

Could any of you post screenshots of your system preferences setup to compare please?

Thanks!

Still having the same issue as the last version :frowning:

Windows 10 build 18362

I try to install it, this time making sure my anti-virus was turned off just to get rid of that variable, and it still gets to the “removing shortcuts” part of the installer and then rolls back and states that the “Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. …”

Is this this a registry issue? Haven’t been able to use Overbridge since 2.0.24 when my anti-virus stopped the installer. My Analog Heat MKII is already on 1.20 so I can’t revert back to an older Overbridge.

Please help.

Test on macOS Catalina:
Installed only Digitone Plugin (Overbridge does not detect Digitone)
Uninstall Overbridge and reinstall Overbridge with all Plugins
Overbridge does detect Digitone.

Anyone else experience this on macOS Catalina?

I have the same issues. That´s sad because Reaper is my only DAW. Who ist the one to blame?
I´ve seen some Dave Mech videos on youtube where he starts Studio 1 and the DT just plays as it would be a VST plugin.
In Reaper it takes a whole bar to sync up correctly and while it´s doing this it plays a lot of unpleasant crackles.
I am on Windows 10, just for the record.
I have a Access Virus TI2 which plays over the same Overhub without any problems and perfectly in sync.

I had some failed attempts installing on win7 and it did make me consider upgrading to win10 - but I ended up getting it to work in win7. Not sure if this will help you, but here are some links to posts that did help me…

… i swear to have been able to render tracks with analog heat thru the plugin in the master bus…
was i really just dreaming… or is this a specific OS ???

Yes, thank you for mentioning. This happens for me too with an Analog 4 (my only ob-supported hardware, so I picked only the A4 support) on Catalina. Was wondering why it was not detected until I saw your post.

I’ve tried the same, with the Digitakt, but didn’t work.

I don’t know what to do … :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I have also noticed that it now fails to uninstall my last successful version install of Overbridge, which is 2.0.19.2 Beta. This is so bizarre and I am so stuck. Anyone?

Desperate for help.

Thanks for the update! I’m still having trouble accessing the Aftertouch, Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel and Breath Control via MIDI. I have the Digitone set up in Overbridge mode with a Midi keyboard connected to Ableton and separate midi tracks routing the channels 1,2,3,4 of my Keystep to the MIDI in of the Digitone VST. This works to separate out the channels and transmits Velocity information (I can see this updating on the VST gui in realtime) but not PB, MW, BC or AT. Any ideas?

Had the same issue, downgraded to .24 and issue was fixed.
running 10.11.6 and rytm mk1 was not showing

Same problem here for me MacOS 10.12.6 Overbridge 2.0.30 doesn’t recognise my analogue 4 mk2 … back to .24 device is recognised …

Just updated to Catalina. Updated new Beta Overbridge. Nothing working in Ableton 10. Transfer not working. Nothing blocked in System Preferences.
The device you’re trying to connect doesnt support transfer. From Digitakt. Digitone the same.
So what do i do now?

Just wanted to report. very happy with 2.0.30 Public Beta and Catalina. I’m using an Aggregate device with the UAD Apollo and Overbridge (Analog Rytm) in Logic Pro X. It’s working great! I did have some issues with a faulty USB -> USB C adapter, but once I figured that out it has been working for hours with no crashes or problems. Cheers!

im in exactly the same situation :frowning:

Mainstream support from Microsoft for Win8.1 ended Jan 8 2018. Almost no software vendor will officially support the platform because of this and new development is not tested. Some things may work if you hack around but are not supported officially.

Another one for the “no devices recognized on macOS” issue :raising_hand_man:

No luck with the A4 mk2 or the Rytm mk2. They’re both working as normal on Windows via Parallels, but won’t show up on macOS.

Catalina (10.15.2), OB 2.0.30.3, A4 1.40A, Rytm 1.50A

updated to OSX MOJAVE

Now it Works

I haven’t been able to get Overbridge to recognize my Analog Rhythm Mk 2. I’ve posted requests for help everywhere, but no one has responded and my time for returning the AR2 – if, in fact, it is defective – is diminishing. I’d rather not return the AR2 if it isn’t the problem, so I hope that someone will help me.

I’m using a MacBook Pro with MacOS 10.12.6 (Sierra), the latest version of Overbridge (2.0.33) installed and the latest firmware on my AR2 (1.50). I’m hesitant to upgrade because of all the negative reports concerning Catalina.

I’ll try installing Overbridge on my Dell XPS-13 running Windows 10 just to see if I have better luck there. None of my New York clients use Windows for music, though.
