When you talking about best margins, you do realise the syntakt will cost far more than the mark 2 takt & tone to manufacture due to its analogue circuits.

Almost certainly. I haven’t seen a BOM but the Syntakt PCB fills the whole case and is packed with chips.

Haven’t seen one posted yet, so here is mine: [IMG_3856] Looks near identical to Digitakt II PCB from what I see at close glance (including Kingston eMMC 32GB memory). In fact, both would appear to have a P/N of PCBA0109B. 1x Coldfire MCF54415CMJ250 1x SHARC ADSP-21569

To be honest I don’t care about the 64 step limitation, however a solution to 128 steps could be dimly lit leds for the first 64 steps then bright lit leds for the next 64

We don’t know if they have brightness control or not, and it can be ambiguous depending on lighting.

I prefer the idea of inverting the four LEDs for pages 5-8.
