I think I’m at a point where I’m ditching earbuds except occasionally my AirPod Pro’s for phone calls and other stuff on the phone. The etymotics sound really nice, but the KRK’s sound as good or better and cost less. A bit more space in the backpack, but worth it to me
I think the main thing is to never have anything with a lithium battery in checked baggage— always carry it on. I’ve ruined a phone and digital SLR by putting them in with checked luggage. So if you are taking the M8 with you on a flight, it’s important to make a track while flying.
That sounds about right. Think the original incident was some Samsung phone with a loose battery connection, checked into the the hold, which caught fire during the flight. My information is outdated as I haven’t been on a plane in years because I find it abhorrent the way they treat passengers like terrorism suspects and/or cattle. Last time I flew it was a novelty to be allowed to keep my shoes on from door to door. Heard you can even bring your own bottled water again, what a privilege!

Yeah you should, the 3.2 beta is, like always may i say, crazy and wonderful : modulation of the modulators and up to 128 slices for the sampler.
It is becoming more and more ridiculous when you think about the size of this thing vs what it can do.

Wow, that sounds great! I thought the waves of cool new features would start to slow down a bit since the last few additions were huge, but there seems to be no end in sight with the m8!

Went to try to buy one of these AGAIN, and still can’t even put in a preorder. I think I’ve tried 10 times.
Yeah, preorders closed a few days ago. I’m sure a few will pop up used in a couple months though!

Every time I’m “ready” it’s not available either. Wondering if supply will ever catch up with demand for this little beast.
to be fair, the preorders have been staying open for significantly longer periods of time this year, so the demand is slowing down it seems.

that´s right…i could think about an order for over 3 weeks, and finally did it. If someone is interested in this device, there isn´t any excuse anymore not to get one…
They aren’t kept “in stock”, you have to keep an eye out for when preorders start for a new batch

made this tune on the new beta firmware. did a tiny bit of modulating modulators on the synth lines, ive enjoyed using the randomness of just punching in LFO values and letting it ride, not putting too much dedicated brain power into sound design. ran it through some SP404 fx too
