Trickiest part for me now is probably just structuring - finding a workflow for working on separate sections and then sticking it together takes a little bit of getting used to. Still haven’t busted my way out any further than 16 bars
I’m sure it’s been asked in here before but >4K replies is a lot to scroll through. Can anyone confirm the max micro SD card size the M8 will accept? I feel like I’d seen 64GB cited somewhere online, but I also saw someone mention they’d gotten a 256GB card in theirs. In cases with much higher memory are there any additional specs to be aware of for smooth running?
Got one one pre-order so wanna get ahead of sorting any additional pieces. Wish June would just hurry up and get out of the bloody way, so we can roll on shipping

i gotta say when it comes to sd cards the most recommended one really is the best. ive been using one of the second tier cards since my stock card got scratched and have gotten random static (very rare but still happens) and slower (not much but noticeable) load times. im gonna get around to ordering another one of the top tier choice soon.

I came across this list on reddit a few weeks ago. The person who posted it said Tim made it, but I don’t know how old it is or if it’s still valid with new firmware or what.
Maybe @trash80 can weigh in on this, because the official recommended SD card list on the site is pretty sparse.
That’s my list. Honestly I would advise to try the Kingston CANVAS Go Plus 128GB … Get it somewhere that is somewhat reliable and with a return policy (Amazon?). I have bought two and both work great. I just ordered the 256gb to test and will know if that one is okay or not by next week.

I order 3 of the canvas Go 128gb only one worked, so in my experience it’s a bit hit and miss
holy smokes! missed this feature, this was my issue with the rendering to sample that it was out of the way in a menu/slower than the PT, but sounds like with this it is now as quick

anyone have any ideas for a neat teensy enclosure that doesn’t involve 3d printing one? I don’t have no printer.
