There’s not, but you can advance instrument tables if they are set to TIC00, and you can do quite a bit of stuff inside instrument tables, lots of fun to be had!

I’m continuing to flesh out my workflow on the M8.
I was feeling a bit frustrated about neglecting my DN2 during this intensive M8 learning phase, so this time I started with a sampling session.
Sampling multi-bar loops from the DN2 perfectly synced to the project is an absolute breeze.
I combined that raw material with samples from the SD card and sequenced everything within the M8.
This is my first track combining the M8 with another machine, and it’s already opening up so many new perspectives.
The mix feels a bit muffled compared to my previous tracks, I definitely still have some progress to make on that front!

My M8 model 02 just arrived and I’ve unboxed it, changed the theme, updated the firmware, and I’m listening to the demos and songs it comes with while I charge it up.
The M8 has already exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality is incredible. The screen looks great, the OS is super fast, the keys are very nice. It is intuitive to get around on.
I’m seriously blown away

I’m more of an offset waist or tele guy, but that is a very nice looking strat, love the color, neck, and wear/age on it!

Completely agree! So often with other devices I find myself thinking “if only it did x” or “that’s a strange decision…”
With the M8 it’s the complete opposite. I’m constantly surprised by how clever, well thought out, and complete it is. Instead I find myself thinking “wow, I can’t believe it does x”.
I still don’t know if the tracker work flow is for me. But the M8 does what it sets out to do so well. It really sets such a high standard to judge other devices by.
