model 2 speakers are really quiet compared to model 1, u got to max out the mix and use the limiter, they can get loud
sometimes I usb-c in to my iPhone pro max it has much better speakers
That’s really cool, what kind of setup is needed on the iPhone side?
Thank you! I will try this tonight!
There’s probably other ways, but I’m using AUM … you can do other cool stuff with it like multi-track record your M8 or use M8 midi to play iOS AU instruments…
Thank you. I’ll give that a shot with the FM, and looking at turning off some of the Hypersynth’s oscillators. LOL at “tame the bees a bit.” ![]()
Oddly enough, before I dove in, the hex was what I was most anxious about, and it clicked for me immediately. Thank you!
Are we sure @trash80 is single? ![]()
aaargh please excuse my poor english… what’s the good way to say what i meant ?
What you said is just fine, and @Mistercharlie was only teasing.
Now that I’m looking, I can’t see where to make this change … how do you do this?
On one of the individual oscillators on a Chord line, use the [OPT]+[EDIT] delete/clear command to clear it.
You can also apply the Filter and different AMP settings to modify the saw wave to something a bit different.
I find ADSR handy for more complex volume play - slower attack, or possibly a strong attack with slow decay and no sustain… But as mentioned, the most fun is using ADSR with note OFF commands, especially if I want a pad to gradually release.
Just in case: insert an OFF command instead of a note by “deleting” an empty note space. OFF triggers the release stage no matter what.
Thank you! Yeah, I kept accidentally adding OFF commands before, but didn’t fully realize what they were for, or that they would tie to the ADSR. So much to learn. It’s fun!
Just an add-on to that: it can be intersting to use an ADSR mod on an FM synth parameter other than volume. When you place an OFF command to start the release phase, it’s like another synth patch kicks in.
Side note: you can also put an OFF command in the FX colums like any other FX command, and that lets you use the numbers to delay when your note-off starts (the same way the KIL command works)
Other way around with AHD (tick based, synced to tempo), ADSR (time based, not tempo synced)
FYI they are the same speakers with a different connector. The issue is there is a huge lipo battery behind the speakers on Model:02
is there a way to make the sequencer move on one step at a time, only when M8 receives a external trigger? cheers
That would be sick
