Is M:S abandonware?

To my mind, there is one issue that falls into this category: the first step of the pattern is regularly missed when syncing to an external clock – a potential dealbreaker for live setups.

This has been fixed in the latest update: OS 1.13. Definitely too early to say the M:S has been abandoned.

Also, it does what it was announced and advertised to do, and then some. That’s a product in my opinion. When Elektron drops huge updates, that’s icing.

Elektron just sent me a new button map because my func knob was broken again. So it’s not fully abandoned.

I’d love a punch parameter on MS ala on the cycles. would love MS to get as grungy as MC can. the way MC distortion breaks up when pushed is glorious.

This is about expectations, perhaps unrealistic ones.

… the expectation that a piece of hardware has to keep improving after you bought it.

Another feature - when Retrig is enabled, in live recording mode, when pressing one of the Tx buttons the automatically triggered notes should be recorded. Would make it way easier to record live some interesting hihats or drumrolls

If they would add the ability to trigger patterns with MIDI notes… that’d do it for me. Everything else is just peachy.
