I pre-ordered from Sweetwater Music Storeā¦ I didnāt have to pay until it shipsā¦ Not sure who everyone gave money to? Elektron?
someone told these self entitled folks they were special way to often during their childhood yearsā¦ next up will be them claiming that owning drum machines is a right and not a privilege, therefore gov should raise taxes on everyone to pay for their drum machines

Yes. Elektron wanted $ up front. Others did not.
Iām sure some retailers will have them for sale online by the end of the month.
Iām excited to play with the DT but I imagine itāll just be another toy in my studio specifically used for creating endless loops that go nowehere

I love how chaotic this whole thread has been since the jump.
With that said given that some local LA cats jonwayne/thauvius beck received their units already I gotta feeling theyāll probably be shipping the units out this week and since I ordered from an LA shop I can hopefully go pick mine up in a few days.
I do think elektron couldāve communicated more given that they popped up in the thread a few times. Either that or donāt say anything at al. It all almost seems like part of the marketing scheme to remain mysterious lol. Regardless this week or next week, or next month. Iām sure all who have ordered the DT will be more than pleased when they receive it.
Canāt think of anything at the price point that is like it and Iām super excited to mess around with it
