Good question, from my above post, it has been totally frustrating in my concern. Midi message to trigger envelopes would make it much more powerful and expressive. Why not possible?
I tested quite few workarounds and finally sold it.
got mine really for a price that sits under the used mk1 range 
but Iāve exactly the same cringy goosebumps as @Dataline because yeah, the heat is on and the +fx are by now a few really cool modulateable hologram type sounds, in my mind itās cheaper then a used microcosm idk that feels good 
it could really benefit from Elektron love as itās a bit āfilledā and could be live on with some reorganizationā¦the mod matrix is a bit chaotic and more shortcuts (switch between mod depth 1/2 without the matrix etc) would be neat. keytracking the filter, trig on midi note input, mod-flow page

maybe you need to get ya wallet because you can control the LFO-3 destination via midi and therefore itās easy to set the āenvelope trigā destination to a fixed value on a midi controller so even tho the lfo is doing other dutyās a momentary push on the destination (env trig) will most likely trigger the envelope and set itself back immediately.
I would have thought about controlling the trig level parameter this way so itās basically off but momentarily on if youāve set your midi button to do trig level parameter zerooo

I tried many things, even discussed about it once with an Elektron dev, saying theyād try to find somethingā¦
So if this is possible now, I need a video proof that a midi message can reliably trigger envelope and lfo. Didnāt work for me, even using midi tricks like Threshold parameter midi control from 0 value to 127. Almost workingā¦but not accurately.

so as iāve been really curious itās absolutely no problem to trigger the envelope trig with the midi track from the XY (select CC92 - env trig destination on LFO 3, parameter lock it to the value where itās a trig (18 on the XY) , depth to +127 and inbetween a 0 destination to reset the trig selectionā¦this decouples the trig from the audio input triggering as you can see in this clip, the level for the envelope to trigger isnāt even reached and whatās triggering the envelope is the exact step on the sequencer 
the lfos will follow that pattern when set to trig-mode, triggering this from a midi note would be more natural 
Ah if you call it an obvious example of envelope triggering I must be deaf.

and trust me, if you turn the CC knob from and to the right value (18 on the XY) the envelope and lfos will get their respective trig exactly on a knob turn, this could be a button for sure. nice
lfo 3 is the only with this mod destination (env trig) and envelopes do trigger from the trigger as there is no sequencer and it is meant to be audio responsive, this is a logical workaround with the tools within this machine dunno 
Thanks for precision but it doesnāt proove it can trigger TRIGGER reliably.
Example with CV IN from A4. I couldnāt make it with midi.
itās a bit flakey but you should upgrade, no matter what!
I wonāt buy that very expensive AH+FX without being sure to trigger envelope or lfo PERFECTLY with midi.

if you follow the logic you can see that the envelope trigger is happening even tho the audio doesnāt cross the trig Line, which is impossible without a sequencer.
I mean anyone with a DT/ST/DN can sequence CC 92 (lfo3 env. trig) which triggers when selected and the depth is at min +64 youāll end up sequencing the ON/OFF state by activating/deactivating the env trig parameter on LFO3, its reliable but a bit flakey and without a doubt would just make sense to make these actions standalone in relation to note inputā¦hopefully someone at elektron canāt sleep anymore without thinking tomorrow Iāll pitch at least 16 FXs and more modulation capabilities
