Hi, and Merry Christmas to All!
I’m sequencing a Nord Rack 2 from the Octatrack MKI, and assigned cutoff to a Knob to make some live recording and goes good… but i can’t get, how to erase just the live recording motion without erasing the trigs/notes.
I tried the Exit/No+ Knob and the Function+Exit/No+Knob in both Recording Mode and Live Recording mode, and any of this works
I searched and founded this wich levesme in the same place
Hello
I have been live recording the MIDI into the OT including live recording CC changes. It is working great! A question…How do I simply erase my CC changes on a track if I do not like them? There are instructions in the manual how to accomplish this with Trig Samples but I tried on MIDI tracks and the commands did not work. Any ideas?

Hi All, I’m somewhat new to this community and hoping someone can help with this. I’ve searched forums for the answer and haven’t found it yet:
How do you remove automation for a particular parameter that was tweaked in live recording mode? When I clear the parameter page, the Octa still keeps the automation on individual trigs. I have to go to each trig and clear it, one at a time. Isn’t there a way to clear automation for an entire track? If not, I’m dumbfounded by this oversight. If so, I’ll…
Hi, i just bought an Octatrack MKII and this thing changed my life (yes !)
I try to read a little bit of the manual once a day to go deeper and deeper into this machine but it’s so deep that i didn’t find what i am looking for.
I know that i can record encoders changes of value, i allready did this by mistake (trig button turn green).
I would like to know exactly how does it work, and also how to undo the recording when it’s not okay.
Thanks !
I’ll Appreciate the help!
thanks!

This topic is where to have your clarification - i believe the question is answered there anyway
Don’t forget, it’s peeling back the locked automation to allow it to perform with its current value, this may not be the value you had originally as part of the sound before you added the automation
You can also wipe clear all automation for a given track by pressing Fn+No in realtime record (you have to hold for the whole pass, just as above)
An alternative to allow addition and removal of automation could be to copy just before an edit, then paste back the pre-twiddled buffer to instantly re…
Please, keep it tidy
