Hi, i just bought an Octatrack MKII and this thing changed my life (yes !)
I try to read a little bit of the manual once a day to go deeper and deeper into this machine but it’s so deep that i didn’t find what i am looking for.
I know that i can record encoders changes of value, i allready did this by mistake (trig button turn green).
I would like to know exactly how does it work, and also how to undo the recording when it’s not okay.
Thanks !
Play+rec records every twist and turn. Look for “live record” in the manual. As opposed to “grid record”.

Recording knob movements : Live Recording (Rec+Play)
Erasing knob movements : while in Live Recording, press No and press concerned knobs.

Cheers!
(a new one coming out within the hour!)
To be precise it’s not movements that are recorded, but rather one value per step, so the effect is a little different from automation curves in a DAW.
