I’m track 5. Used just 2 samples from Ennio, the main drums sounds are from the wutang battle. I created a few patterns on my DT until one clicked with me. I knew I was going to use vocals from California Love and wanted a halftime feel for the verse. Wish I did more with the vocals. Hearing Tupac say “give me love” isolated was kinda haunting after awhile. I record into bitwig and added filters and mastering oh and the flute sample.
This one was fun because I grew up out in those old cowboy desert towns. My Grandfather lived on the outskirts of the Coachella valley, lots of stoic men in trucks and banditos hiding behind every tumbleweed. Thanks for the nostalgia
