Long time AC fan reporting in, AC6 is definitely the most fun I have had in a video game in the past 5 or so years. Everything feels good, although I do wish it was a little more difficult at times. Especially the arena should have been much more of a challenge than it was. At the same time it’s not like the older games were particularly hard either.

I’m on NG++ now and loving it even more than ever. It’s definitely a grower.
I made a speedrun build I’m NG+ and enjoyed it so much that my main AC is based off it. Using the ALLMIND reverse-joint legs, dual laser pistols and double dual plasma launchers on the shoulders. Still light enough to boost for a long time, the legs allow for great jumping potential and I have swift QB potential.
Other than that, my previous AC was a typical dual Zimmermanlldual Songbirds build, though the extra weight for the Needle Launchers is worth it as it reloads so much quicker.
Iguazu is a dick, Rusty is everyone’s buddy and 621 is an enigma. Love it.

I decided to give Dark Souls 3 a go after getting the itch to play another From Software game and I’ve been having a blast. Combat is somewhere between DS1 and ER; it’s much smoother than DS1 which makes sense. It feels hard so far but not TOO hard. Maybe it’s because it’s more linear but I haven’t ended up in too many situations that were way outside of what I could handle. I’m only about of a third of the way through right now though so maybe I just haven’t the walls yet. I’m trying a Dex/Faith build, mainly because I wanted to cosplay Joan of Arc but I read that straight Faith was really tough.
Level design isn’t nearly as nice as DS1 but there’s still enough going on to make it interesting and the combat makes up for it. I feel like DS1 might be harder combat wise but the combat in DS3 feels more fun.

Dark Souls 3 was rad.
I loved a lot of the messed up areas you fight through and the build up to the apocalyptic endings.
You’re making me want to play again, but I’m a good ways into Dragon’s Dogma with the run up to the sequel.

On-topic, I’ve really been itching to try Elden Ring, but I’m worried I’ll just hit brick wall after brick wall and quit. I loved the first Dark Souls at release, put hundreds of hours into it. I hated 2, and bounced hard off of the third one several times because I found some bosses far too tough/ don’t have the patience I used to.

there’s so much to do in Elden Ring that you can just go and do something else if you find yourself hitting brick wall 
also there are some major quality of life changes, like most of the time you respawn very close to the boss location

Lol I just wrote how DS3 wasn’t too hard and now I’m at Cathedral of the Deep and can’t stop dying. I should have kept my mouth shut…

I’ve really missed AC6. Since I platted it, I haven’t felt much of an urge to return… Would love to see a DLC including:
More reverse-joint legs
More Tank Legs
Basically more of every leg type (except bipedal as there’s loads of those)
SNIPER RIFLES
More shoulder-mounted deathbringers (to rival the Needle Launchers)
More shotguns (to rival the Zimmys)
An axe - because more melee good
Head parts that change the voice of your Core
An energy machine gun/gatling laser
Grenade rifles
Cores with guns inside
Another campaign the same size as the main

I started a new build recently just to use the Guts Greatsword and it has been super fun. Just absolutely wrecks!
As a player that usually uses a bit of guile and is not particularly aggressive, the build has been a wonderful change of pace!

Yeah I’m looking forward to the expansion. Will make a new character in a few months’ time to get ready. I’m sure loading up my existing ones without getting some practice in would be a very bad idea when I think about the DLC bosses in previous games…

What june? I thought it would be end of this month already.
21 June is the release date. £35 so expected to be pretty sizeable. The trailer has some amazing looking bosses.
