The first 90 Minutes of AC6 have been fun, i had to force quit myself because its got late already. The tempo of the game seems to be an intresting challenge. Different than i expected.

First FromSoft game in a long time I wonāt be able to play launch night. Have the in-laws in town for the weekend and traveling for a week after. Trying hard to avoid spoilers, but the game looks so good.

About to start elden ring - got bored of Zelda ToTKā¦ wish me luckā¦. Last FromSoftware game was dark souls and got stuck in the those bloody sewersā¦

One of the nice things about Elden Ring is if you get stuck, you can just explore elsewhere until you feel stronger. Good luck, tarnished!

Dark Souls 1 was kinda the same way but much easier to travel to places in Elden Ring vs the first half of Dark Souls 1ā¦ Getting out of Blight Town for instanceā¦ major PITA haha.

Something that helped me in the game was the moon veil katana. Great weapon if youāre going for a melee build but want to use a little magic as a treat.
Elden Ring is on my top 5 games list, I hope you enjoy it. The game really gets good once you beat the first story boss and get to explore the first legacy dungeon(shame that the first boss is a real curmudgeon to get thru)

Played some AC6 last night ā¦ enjoyed it but toughā¦going to take a lot of practice for my old hands and mind to get through that game!

I really wish they would port Bloodbourne to the PC platform. That is the only game that I have not played yet in the series and not buying a playstation just for one game lol.
What a crazy game. I watched a guy on YouTube play through Eternal Ring on the run-up to the Elden Ring launch. Regret having fobbed it off as a budget title with crap graphics at the time - I would have loved it!
Do it! I bought a PS3 many moons ago to play Demonās Souls. 
Jealous! Meant to get it on launch but totally forgot, canāt wait to dive back into the AC world.

Really considering starting Armored Core but Iām too far into Baldurs Gate 3. And I mean not even very far in the game but wasting a whole lot of time exploring. 
AC is on the list however.

I decided to take the plunge into AC6
Iām a little bit apprehensive of the game. It feels a smidgen too easy early game.
Each new mission, I have a fear that the FromSoft boot is going to drop and its going to be like ācasual difficulty scale, casualā¦casualā¦BOOM! SPIKED DIFFICULTY! Welcome to the brick wall!ā
Beautiful game though. Controls are interesting and I can see having a lot of fun with them.
UI is a bit unintuitive and will take getting used to

Same - been saving up all my money and playing with beginning kit and hit an unnamed boss for whom I couldnāt put a dent in - difficulty curve def spikes 
That said, pumped to dump 715K into my AC!

Well, at least itās not like Dark Souls 3 where I spent the entire day trying to get past that dang intro boss 
But still, I am just waiting for that āI am so screwedā moment
yeah Iām kinda at that point in ac6. One of the main differences between this and ds/eldenring/sekiro is that there are a finite number of armored core modifications that you can make at each point through the game, so you canāt just endlessly farm to keep leveling up. You can try lots of different load outs and stuff, but this definitely has much more of a āget goodā requirement at some points compared to other recent fromsoft games unfortunately.

if I find a used ps4 or ps5 cheap then yes. I hear rumors of a port coming to PC.
I thought the bosses were easier than I expected until last night when I spent 2 hours trying to beat the one that comes at the end of chapter 1.
Overall Iām enjoying the game, really enjoying the ability to respec and retry missions immediately
Edit to say - in the end it was more like 4.5 hours. But only 30 min or so once I realised that I wasnāt using the weapon they had deliberately put in the game to weaken its defences. Iām an idiot
