Visualise Ur Lfos Values Again
high shelf / low shelf mode for the EQ in the digi boxes
and / or 1 or 2 extra bands.
one band is pretty poxy.
Undo… the more I use elektron boxes the more I realize just how dangerous not offering undo, even < 5 prior steps. Please find a way! I lost a bunch of work yesterday because I accidentally copies pages instead of tracks. I didn’t even realize my mistake until it was way too late. I had to abandon session work and revert to saved. Booo.
I would love to have an ‘input machine’ on my digitone 2, so i could run external audio through the filters, have lfos affecting it, make use of the sequencer… with 16 tracks seems a waste to just have audio passing through and adding a few effects. Could behave like the input machine of the Machinedrum or even like the FX track of the syntakt, which have it’s own filter.
Phaser and 2 routable individual outs for every upcoming unit would be amazing
For those of us who want to keep it dawless

The main selling point of the OT imo is the multiple IO and the live looping with Plock.
Digitakt is far from that to my despair
While editing / parameter locking a TRIG LOCK, and holding FUNC at the same time, unlike expected, the snap feature does not work (this probably isn’t actually a bug but a feature not implemented yet?)
E.g. if we’re trying to edit / parameter lock the LFO speed on a specific TRIG, snapping to the “next” value does not work / does not seem to be implemented
track nudge / track microtime
so you can tempo nudge a single track backwards or forwards relative to the main sequencer like you can nudge the main sequencer with the arrow keys
track microtime, same idea, but where you have the same microtime increments you have per step, but applied to the whole track. i know there is “microtime all”. it would be handy to dial in the “feel” once, and have that feel always applied to the “kit”. (all kicks 10ms late, all snares 20ms late, but steps are all on-grid). in superior drummer i like to use the offset control per instrument, once the desired track offset feel is set between the parts, all straight grid midi will have that “feel”)
Bring Back Global Mode
On the new Digi series, it would be great to bring back Global Mode. I really need it when performing live, because during a pattern change it allows the mixer sections and effects to stay at the desired values, for example when doing a transition with a MIDI controller. Performance Mode doesn’t really solve this issue, since it preserves the entire set of sounds, which isn’t necessarily what I need.
Instead (or in addition) they should bring back the old kits or something similar, to be able to make changes that work across patterns (and have them be saved automatically to whichever kit the patterns are attached to).
Would love a feature in, perhaps, overbridge, which would display all trigs from all tracks in the current pattern on a timeline.
(I mention overbridge since it’s already poking around in the current pattern data, isn’t it ?)
Oh, and DT2 first pretty please ![]()

Hi, feature request for the Digitakt II (and the OG, why not…)
Existing play modes are FWD, FWD.L, REV, and REV.L . It would be awesome to have a new mode which would bounce direction when reaching the loop points. I call it bounce.
FWD.B would start playback like FWD.L, but switch to reverse once the end is reached. When the Loop point is reached, the playback would switch back to forward.
REV.B would be the same concept, but it would start from the end, playing reversed.
Looping like this creates a more seamless sound, less glitchy. Sometimes glitch is what we want, but sometimes, it isn’t.
Also, one comment concerning the existing REV.L playback mode. It would be nice if it behaved like the FWD.L mode. The start point should be where the loop is triggered, kind of how the end point triggers the loop it in FWD.L mode. Actually, in REV.L, the start point has no meaning. Hope this makes sense. I do realize that that’s not the sort of thing that can be changed, but a new “fixed” REV.L mode could be added.
this is called ping pong looping generally, it’s been requested a lot.
I would like it a lot. For now there is modulating the playback mode which has been fixed to allow for this using a square wave lfo. (I believe it was broken and not sure about the OG, feel free to correct me)
My #1 wish for all the Elektron Machines would be a new Generative Sequencer. We already have a Sequencer page, please add some more generative modes in there alongside the Euclidean.
Feature request for Digiboxes:
At the moment, it is very difficult to quickly switch between modulation pages in the setup menu. This is extremely inconvenient, especially when playing live. You have to use additional controllers and create extra MIDI mappings just to get quick access to all the necessary macros. It would be amazing to achieve this only with the help of an Elektron device — in a convenient and playful way.
Recorder screen - before arming recording, make it absolutely clear if the recording threshold is being crossed or not. Display some indicator on the screen every time the threshold is hit.
This applies to all *takt/*tone boxes, but mainly generation II:
Screwed rubber feet.
Would be cool the be able to record page randomization. You can currently page randomize and then hold a trig and click each knob, but it’s pretty tedious.
