Agree
Individual outs please dear Elektron deities, just two would make a huge difference. Unless you’re working on some kind of ADAT-like Overbridge splitbox for dawless Elektronauts ![]()

Would an update drill new holes on the back of elektrons? ![]()
No? I find it useful to let our beloved devs know that it’s a very much wanted feature for upcoming devices that will probably increase the reach of potential customers with a lot.
This is especially probable given the ever growing interest for dawless music production the past few years. Overbridge is great, but OB dependence is not.
Fair enough, and agreed.
It’s just me thinking this thread was feature requests for existing elektrons but I guess why not for future ones too.
Would love to see an “Accumulator” per step like on the Intellijel Metropolix or Oxi One. It’s also doable with the NerdSeq and I guess other tracker sequencers can do this.
I really think the Elektron sequencers could get some big update watching what are doing other brands the recent years
I’ve said this in other contexts before, but:
Instead of assigning dest and amount through a menu, hold the LFO page button (or whatever src modulator), hit another page of what you want to control, turn the knobs the amount you want them controlled. Like a parameter-lock for lfos. Not sure if possible to implement due to only one destination currently available for a modulator.
Note retrigs for all machines, please. I think it’s the modern standard and it must be the default feature.
Add an option to ‘randomise page parameters’ to be more of a mutate … a limited amount of random … similar to mutate on nord ( I think )
Essentially a 20% random to parameters instead of 100% . This could also be an option for user to choose 20/30/40 etc.
Option would be in the personalise menu
Overdub / recording options page
So forgive me as I’m not so familiar with this mode yet but I was thinking
Add ability to define what gets overdubbed and what doesn’t
Eg. I make a pattern with a melody , note ratchets, parameter locks , velocity / note lengths etc. I presume when i overdub that at some point All that gets wiped if internal sounds are mono / 3 notes per trig
I suggest a menu in the personalise for overdub and you can select from a tick box menu the aspects that are overdubbed. With the correct settings everything might be kept except the note itself, useful for a way to improvise variant patterns. It might even restrict it to only record notes on trigs with existing notes on them .
The ability to see the fucking FILL trigs I programmed, after I go back to a pattern, weeks later. (Sometimes days
)
Similarly, the ability to quickly identify which tracks are sounding at a particular step in the sequence.
It would also be cool to see soft trig movement while in mute mode rather than just the rhythmic flashing of tracks. Meaning that there was still some lightly illuminated LED movement from the first to the last step as the sequence goes from page to page as it does when you’re just in the pattern view.
I guess it’s not essential to see that when in mute mode, but it would still be kinda nice.
Im struggling with non-4/4 time signatures and a skip-trig is an easy to implement and straight forward concept that solves the problem.
Alternative firmwares with specialized functions for older devices.
I’m not sure if this has been mentioned, but I did try searching and didn’t come up.
A way to cancel a pattern change command.
As a live performer, I had that panic moment where I accidentally selected the wrong pattern, and I wished there was a way to cancel that action (pressing NO multiple times, or PTN+NO are not used for anything AFAIK.)
Obviously with the new DT update it is simply one of the best boxes ever!!!
So i was thinking… What does the OT have that the DT doesnt. Obviously the crossfader.
Elektron. Please. This is perfectly feasible. But it does mean death to the OT.
Please make a standalone crossfader. Connect all Elektron boxes to it and it could act as a midi hub for all machines and be able to assign OT style mappings to a crossfader.
IMAGINE!! For example… Filter from DN mapped to A fader alongside say a DT parameter. It becomes a mega performance monster.
Just a thought…
you know…
Go on Elektron…
Thank you
Yeah i hear ya but this is definitely a compromise and much lesser functionality.
