I think I posted this when the module first dropped but has anyone tried to go the route of multiple Perkons modules paired with the Erica drum sequencer or something similar.
Seems you’d have more flexibility in eurorack as far as external processing. Also the 4 voice poly modes with the modules is pretty interesting

Nah, I considered it at one point. I never dove into modular and don’t plan to but the thought of a Perkons Module or Two with a DFAM and a shit ton of joysticks to pilot them almost brought me to the dark side.
Need a firmware update to at least sort out the Voice 1 Drone, it locks Perkons every time for me.
Also noted some strange decay issues when using “half steps” on Voice 2, adds too much attack to your kick on the full step following the half step.
how can perkons do a half step?
perkons has literally killed all other gear for me - hope blast beats is as fun to tweak on my holidays as perkons is just too big to travel with - if there was a mini battery powered perkons then wow I’d buy it!
I’m not sure what you mean exactly but you have the lane scaling which lets you run a sequence lane at multiples of the norm. Giving you some cool possibilities.
Pro tip… If you leave the setting on for un-stepped gesture recording and you use the slowest lane scaling… you can effectively record knob tweaks over the full range of 8-18 bars (I forgot exactly how long.)
Or some odd interval of that for poly rhythmic drones that won’t repeat the same way until the heat death of the universe begins to set in.
