Very true! I think the ST init sounds are what they are because the machine settings don’t really have completely “neutral” positions like on synths with more direct control of the parameters.

Another option to come up with non-standard sounds is to randomize and see where to go from there…

A jam with one of the thingies I posted first here. Main part is one track RAW, inspired by bassline db-01. The snare sound is inspired by the Nord Drum. And then later some more sounds come in :wink:
