Yes, they will be long. I am trying to decide if I should buy a Pyramid since Elektron will not make the MIDI sequencer I need.
If Elektron really just shows the current lineup (unlikely, I expect something new) and Overbridge 2.0, a lot of people probably will be angry.
Those people probably donāt realise what Elektron already had done in 2017. They really worked like maniacs! Personally i think they did a awesome job with the mkII units! They released the Digitakt (I donāt own one, but i heard itās still not free of bugs) and they are still working on the OS. Plus new Overbridge(now free) and things like conditional triggers, even for the old OT models, a new synth engine for the Rytm, plus a lot of work that isnāt obvious for the end user. For a relatively small company like elektron, thatās already a lot of work! I wouldnāt be angry if they really presented nothing new, but i guess if this would be the case, Elektron would have communicated this, in order to not disappoint any fansā¦
I actually would rather wait a little longer and get something thats perfectly thought-out and works perfect from beginning, and most important, something innovativ,something thats not just another synth/sampler/whatever. Elektron always did a great job in those concerns, iām sure they will continue there success.
Roland and a few others on the other hand have much more resources but not near as much innovation in the last years (I admit the ACB tech was a good idea), but right now, they should learn from Elektron instead of selling they old products in new clothesā¦

I saw on instagram that 2 new āsecretā videos from @cuckoomusic are going live at 7am pacific time, which is in 40 minutes. My guess is 1 is the new pocket operators and the other is something about/from

Some people may be angry if they show a new box before finishing the previous ones. They promised OB and new OS for Digitakt before the end of 2017, and itās still not availableā¦

Polyphonic FM or other digital synthesis synthesizer in a digitaktās form factor.
And that is why the digitakt has that extra hole inside, to hold the extra board that is used on this new synth.

I read your comment (just waking up) and totally spaced on the algorithm patterns when I watched that video. Definitely an FM something on the second visit. I have a DX7II and would love something a bit more reliable and from Elektron. Whether itās an update to an existing machine or something new.
Cuckoos videos were about teenage engineering pocket operators
