so I think the issue is with the MPC. [compounding the issue that exists with the electron stuff]
in the list when you set events it forces you [for program change] to have an even at bar 1.
so it resets the selection pushing the change off by a bar.
I found, using my computer, in a 4 bar loop, even in a 1 bar loop, if the program change was put 3/4 of the way thru the last bar, the change will happen come the next time it loops.
the MPC forces an even in bar one, so it resets the event, and pushes back the change.
in a 4 bar loop if we were able to have a program change event at 04:04:00 I wager the change will happen as it should. unfortunately when I delete the even at 01:01:00 it also removes the event at 04:01:00. I have NO idea why that is, and why it forces and event at 1, even when I try to create the initial event at 4.
anyone know anybody at Akai?
they never seem to answer tech questions.
maybe it a matter for making the initial 4 bar loop. then making a loop with the first three bars of the 4 bar loop, with the change in it, then making a 1 bar loops with the last part of the 4 bar loop as the waiting period before the change.
fuuuuuu…why cant it just werk.
