track routing to headphones only
so you can use a y splitter on the headphone out to get 4 individual outs on digitone 2 with main LR and headphone LR

āPage Randomā all parameters on the arpeggiator page:
Also random pattern mode in the arp or be able to set arp pattern as an LFO destination.
plays free mute mode
a third mute mode in DN2, where instead of muting the track, pressing a track button plays the track, and a second press stops the track. with or without (
) launch quantization. idea being 16 tracks that are tempo locked but not synchronized
I guess this is more of a all boxes request but a trigger swap feature working similarly to the track swap feature would be handy for trying out / modifying melodic parts and rhythmic parts that have a lot of param locks.
Itās not possible. Itās been asked in this thread before from what I remember itās wired at hardware level so no re routing doable
Couple of things I think would be super easy to implement and be very useful:
In the folded scale mode, we get two octaves of a scale, but with 8 note scales we get repeated root notes. With smaller scales like pentatonics thereās even more redundancy. Why not allow an āoctave splitā control, so the bottom row can be multiple octaves lower than the upper row. I believe encoder H is unused in the fold mode settings, so throw it there!
Also, and this is mentioned above I think: negative octaves in the arp! Out of all the synthesisers I have, I donāt think any of them do this and Iāve never understood it! Does anyone actually use 8 whole octaves up with the arp? In practice this takes subsonic bass right up to almost inaudible whine!
It would be great if we could change the Note Probability for individual notes in a chord in the Note Editor.
Simple but could be really useful when trying to arrange patterns into a song : when pattern loop is used, have it stay on the pattern, even after changing to another.
MIDI related improvements. I would be nice >
Iād like a filter in load preset for the used machine (Iād like to explore fm drums only).
Jump to Bottom
When in menus, especially long ones like like filters screen or patterns, double pressing up ^ when at the top of the menu should send you to the bottom on the menu. Likewise, when at the bottom, double pressing down should send you back to the top.
When jamming, knobbing through the numerator/denominator combinations of trig conditions can be tricky/tedious, especially when trying to do so in advance of the next loop repetition. The Digitone 2 improved this quite a bit by splitting fill and probability off into their own parameters. Further splitting numerator and denominator would make it easier to change these for multiple trigs at one time.
This could be a popup menu similar to the microtiming menu, which could also give room for visualization of the conditions (e.g. for 4:4, 4 empty boxes with the last filled in, similar to track polyphony visuals), which could make this much more intuitive just by changing their representation from text to visuals. Maybe there could even a way to even use the trig keys to set up the numerator/denominator, similar to trig modes.
In the Macro setup pages, use the same func+scroll category jump shortcuts when selecting the destination parameter as when choosing it in the LFO pages.
hah! I wonder why you had this idea. I watched the video earlier, very cool. ![]()
A optional setting to decouple the Track Volume from what is saved in the Pattern, this will allow for better transition between tracks for live situation.
I know itās been said before, but the ability to have filter as FX for input signals would be so appreciated.
Was it possible to access sound pool slots via MIDI with multimap on on the OG?
Yes
Or maybe Iām mistaken but it was possible with the keyboard of the DN keys
