If you plock some fill trig’s…
You can already achieve what you want with fill cond and plocks
I can do 4 things at once with it?
Speaking of fill, when setting a trig to be activated only during fill I’d really like it to have a different color. Or perhaps not have it show on the grid at all.
Say I want a full page of snares during fill, it becomes impossible to tell what the “normal” sequence is. Unless I’m missing something?
Even better to be able to assign envelopes to multiple destinations, like on A4.
Dream big!
For something more like fills, maybe the midi scenes trick for punch in fx. I haven’t seen anyone use it on DNII specifically, but it should probably work if sequenced externally.
I think this works on all the digi style boxes?
You can plock 4 parameters (or more) on a trig.
Not missing anything, it’s a bit of a UX nightmare once you get a bunch of fills and conditionals.
A different colour for conditional and fill trigs would be great such as orange perhaps, so it’s close to the red trigs (this all applies to the DT2 too of course)
We definitely need a different color for fill trig!
On my top wish!
and speaking of colour, an option in the track setup page to adjust the colour when in pattern based muting (the pink), or a third “pattern-custom” mode.
16 tracks is a lot, layers etc. would be great to be able assign a bit of colour coding to the track elements, especially for using live. save the brain!
4 tracks on the dtn was easy, 16 is so very deep under all that pink (or green)
i mean i guess te old tape with writing on the case
on that live note, would be great to have a new screen window / with a quick shortcut added somehow for…
all it is is a big ass letter number of what the bank/pattern or song name is and maybe space for a little bit of a sub header / note etc. maybe shows how long in minutes or bars the machine has been running on the current pattern and or in total - just a really simple overview window nice and easy to see from the peripheral vision to help guidance in a live set.
these all apply to digitakt 2 as well obviously.
arp hold
in keyboard mode, if arp mode active , yes=hold (latch) no=release
Swing per track would be great!
neibour machines
performance mode [A4 style]
Probably already asked even though I couldn’t find it mentionned via the seach tool.
Wouldn’t it be nice if envelopes (env A, env B, amp env, filter env) were loopable, like in Ableton Operator ? It would open up for more sound design possibilties !
Is there a way to undo the ‘Reload’ command? I’ve lost quite a lot of stuff by accidentally hitting FN+no. Same thing to a lesser extent with the FN+clear combo. A single undo for those actions would be really helpful. Even buried somewhere in the main menu system.
It’s pretty frustrating when you’ve finally got a cool 16 layer pattern going and are ready to make a song, then accidentally hit FN+no, and ‘poof’ a nearly empty project. Damn
Don’t know about the func+no, but for func+clear, I seem to remember for DTOG and AR MKII, if you hit func+clear again, it undoes the initial clear. Assumed that was a universal Elektron combo
p lock on step offset is what i need
DN2 made me forget I had a DT2 for a couple of weeks. So dope. I love this box man.
yes, choke groups too
now that the “lfo” page has been changed to “mod,” it’s safe to assume that there’s a possibility that envelopes may be included in a future update
it would be awesome if there were an option to define envelope stages by a selectable number of steps in the sequencer as opposed to vague numerical values
for example, you could have an attack stage of 16 steps, a decay stage of 32 steps, etc
this would help facilitate automation without having to do the weird lfo math
