It is weird to me that to this day Elektron won’t use dynamic note allocation for chords. Or a totally event-based sequencer, allowing unlimited zoom and track length
ONESHOT MONO:
As we know smooth looping with a crossfade essentially demands a second voice. so a oneshot mono track can do smooth crossfading with variable crossfade duration using the second “channel”. if mono sample is assigned to slot, it uses a duplicate, if stereo sample is assigned, it uses just the L channel and duplicates it for a smooth loop crossfade.
PING-PONG LOOP:
i’m shocked how this is not a thing still.
In addition to the number one feature request for both Digitakt 1 and the Digitakt 2 which is a sample chop /slicing machine with Elektron’s own special sauce… I would love the feature of collapsing all of the tracks/option to specify which tracks into a linear choke collapse, specifically attached to one of the knobs that would allow us to sweep through a sequence/pattern at will and only have the parts of the pattern affected that we choose between brackets that we could set…
we’d turn the knob left and right sweeping back and forth through the pattern, this would be wonderful for live performance and wonderful for production if we could have this recordable into the sequencer…
just watched @SonWu’s video and totally agree with his idea of adding an attack envelope to the werp machine to address the clicks- it would make a world of difference
and um speaking of clicks- any chance for a crossfade option on loops

otherwise totally impressed with the update for the quality of life improvements alone- most underrated feature i think is the ability to quantize the notes to scale on the trig page- i just wish it could be done by holding func instead of awkwardly pressing the encoder
How about the worble effect? Would like to see that added plz
Think it will stay that way. Lot of fun with it is to make all of this by hand - this gives a lot more and deep understanding of the music and is very rewarding - once you learn a new trick and know the secret formula (like numbers for settings of LFO speed and depth etc.)
However: all Elektron machines could profit from tables for arbitrary parameters (SID style, Adlib tracker II style) would be great to run through programmed samples, waveforms, pitch, volume, filter type etc. (thinking of tables with up to 4 selectable parameters or 2 pages a 4)
100%
On all devices
my work around is setup a track preset duplicate it four times then repitch them. Also track copy for trigs. Creates beautiful poly sounds.
I’d like a shortcut such as hold TRK, the FUNC+LEFT/RIGHT to shift all the tracks at once.
Sometimes, I have a nice sequence and figure after hours of playing that it would sound better starting on step X.
16 tracks to shift on a 128 step sequencer is a bit tedious
Every device really needs this
easier vay to select banks on menu interface (loading saving presets etc) currently it’s very cumbersome to either select a bank (with menu option) or simply scrolling with fnc+arrow
On Syntakt you can access sounds banks with Bank button. Dunno yet if possible with DT2…
2nd reverb with a different flavour would be nice.
I mainly would like the ability to have different decay lengths for drums and synth sounds.
I would like this on all digi’s actually
Elektron!! It’s not too late!! Make a quick hardware revision to give us an extra 2 outputs!!
A “scaled chop” of samples after recording. Choose the start of the chop and it will chop eg. 16 steps from that start point. Easy to implement with one encoder (off, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128).
Dedicated export and load of kits in Tranfer. So we can easily share cool kits.
