Ah, I think I’m starting to see now why people think there are so many complaints.
I’ve mentioned a number of times about those things - not a single time has it been a complaint - and I’ve not seen a single other person ‘complain’ about it.
Is the issue here that anything short of fawning priase is being seen as a complaint? Literally wondering why Elektron might have introduced an inconsistency is tantamount to incensant complaining?

I don’t understand why its hard to tolerate another persons criticism of an object. We all have our needs and priorities. Nothing is perfect. It’s ok to talk about the imperfection.
But yea I don’t see those as complaints though - it is an inconsistency - are we not allowed to talk about it?
From my perspective I’ve spoken about itbecause I find it interesting. Initially because I thought it meant the leak was false, and then after because I speculate it means updates elsewhere in the line. And if I were adding it to my setup then I would consider it a visual oddity - and would prefer it otherwise. As is my right
Yeah, of course you can talk about it, I said I want to see more of it!
Edit: I’m not telling anybody to stop complaining, people can say what they like. I’ve not commented on any of the other threads (I gave up on the trademark thread ages ago but read the whole ‘lend us your ears’ one, every post) because it doesn’t hurt me if people want to complain. But this is a meta thread complaining about complaining, so I’m doing some shit posting here.
If everyone here would agree on everything this would be an extremely boring place.

IMO as long as ppl are respectful to each others it’s interesting to read their opinions and views especially when they are completely different from mine.
I don’t think anyone is arguing for complete agreement. More that it’s just getting ridiculous (in my opinion) to the level that we have to have these meta discussions to begin with.
I don’t see these kind of discussions or the need for them necessarily as only a bad thing. We are a community and these kind of discussions can be very healthy too.
I understand that ppl complaining about stuff can be a downer but at the same time it also speaks about passion and can be fruitful for the future things to come. Who knows…
Sometimes when having a bad day it’s easy to slip into unnecessary depths of negativity for sure and there has been many times when I’ve regretted snapping at someone here or for being a whiny moron. But then again it’s all part of being human.
