we could be happy to even have companies that are doing interesting stuff for “electronic” music and it would be nice to be grateful for that.
We often take for granted the fact that we have so many products available and that the industry is growing.
Back in the days you would need to modify sine generators in order to do electronic music or solder your own theremin

Yeah I was dissapointed at first cause its evolution rather than revolution. I’m feeling more optimistic now.
This is only version 1.0 so it makes sense it still borrows a lot of elements of other devices. In time I think they’ll add more unique machines and other features to it.

exactly my observation! Though with so many options to choose from, I definitely recommend this one, it is by far the most entertaining one in my book.

I made that post when the forum was specaluting if the leak was legit or not.
It’s honestly obvious that it’s a design inconsistency though. Maybe they would make a silent update on DT and DN to make it more “consistent”. (I’m sure a company like Elektron that is super thoughtful of aesthetics would)
It’s just a minor thing, I’m still drooling all over the new Syntakt and prolly get it at some point

Or maybe it’s to differentiate the Digi and Syn line. Who knows whats in the pipeline at Elektron?
Well in the reveal video DT and DN are referred as „Syntakt‘s closest family members“ before jamming with all 3 in a banger track so it’s clearly not their intention to set them apart.
